Receiving an award shouldn't be commendable—the reasons they received the award may be commendable but just receiving an award as of in itself is not significant.

I love The Salaxalans. Having said that, I admittedly know little about them. Having read this proposal, I still know little about them. This is my summary of the commend so far:

1. Potatoes, while I love them irl, in-game gimmicks like this/tacos/cuteness/ext annoy me.
2. Salaxalans is the likeable face of Spiritus.

If possible, give me more. What regional events and games did they host? How did Spiritus do as a whole in the 2015 zombie apocalypse? Did they make the leaderboards following Salaxalan's lead? As was mentioned earlier, I'm not sure that regional awards belong in a Commendation. One reason for this is that you're writing a World Assembly Commendation: while they are certainly evidence that this nation has done a great deal for Spiritus, they are not evidence that this nation has done a great deal for nations outside Spiritus. Another is that these awards were granted because of actions this nation did, and these actions are already in your commendation. For example, you note that the target nation was given an award for contributing to Spiritus through various different government roles... and then later, you list out many of the roles that the target nation has held in Spiritus. It comes off a bit like the target nation doesn't have much going for them, so you've padded out the resolution by effectively listing everything twice.

It's also not clear how meaningful the awards are. The description for the awards is a bit vague, and it seems like there could be a bit of overlap between the awards.

I would be interested in hearing about what this nation has done outside of their region. Here is what I see so far:

There doesn't seem to be a lot here. After reading your resolution, when I ask myself "how has this nation done good for nations outside their region," I don't come up with much. You have quite a bit of evidence that this nation deserves a Commendation from Spiritus, but very little suggests that this nation deserves a commendation from anyone outside. For me, your commendation seems to rank well below the "Commending Average Defenders For Defending" resolutions we've seen - those nations often contribute quite a bit to their own region and to others as well.

I think you could do better by fleshing out what this nation has done outside of their region. You mention that they were Minister of Foreign Affairs. Did they plan or host any interregional events? Were they responsible for any treaties or establishing other formal relations between Spiritus and other regions? Is there anything that they've done on the world stage, outside of the gimmick/meme Secretary General election where they ran as the running mate to someone who didn't appear to require their assistance at all?

This has been updated rather significantly - in the future, I will go more in-depth with what they have done in their different regional roles in Spiritus, but I wanted to assure everyone that this was still being worked on so I updated it a lot, putting some more in about their stuff outside of Spiritus (most of which is still related to the region, but on a more worldwide scale - such as N-Day, for instance). I also replaced the section about awards with more detailed stuff - especially about an interregional mafia game that keeps coming up in my research and when I talk to people (I don't know if my reference to this is clear enough so please let me know if it is not).

In regards to the potato - they have thrust it to becoming somewhat of a meme in NS (from what I've seen) - so much so that people such as Max have recognized it (unless him mentioning it was super coincidental, but it seems like him being aware of the meme is more likely, to me). While it may not be something that is necessarily commendable by itself, I feel that any commendation that doesn't mention it would be incomplete. I'm willing to rework that clause somewhat if it is needed, but I'd like to keep some form of explicit recognition in the commendation, if possible.

I tried to do some stuff with listing a little bit of what they did under each role they've done, but it ended up just being more listing accomplishments as opposed to telling a story like I want my writing to be more like. If it still seems necessary, I can work at it again - but, in my opinion, I feel that the latest draft gives a better demonstration of The Salaxalans' accomplishments and whole personality than a list of their roles and what they did in those roles, especially considering that there is a section focusing on their delegacy, which is where much of their accomplishments come from.

Depending on feedback to this draft, I'll set a release date sometime soon.
