Understanding that while unusual, The Security Council commends those who display outstanding and meritorious devotion to their home region.

Acknowledging Neo Rome Republic’s commitment to Confederacy of Allied States through six continuous years of leadership and service.

Exemplifying Neo Rome Republic’s continuous service to the international community and home region, Confederacy of Allied States, through,

• Constant communications with newly founded nations to welcome them into the international community

• Giving nations the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive and prosper

• Whistle-blowing on treacherous organizations

• Countless hours devoted to educating and informing newly founded nations

• Exhibiting extraordinary diplomacy within the international community

• Founding of the Council of Regional Affairs of Confederacy of Allied States

Observing the years of hard work that Neo Rome Republic has devoted to Confederacy of Allied States into growing it to the (currently) 47th most populated region in the world.

Further recognizing that Neo Rome Republic is the nonpareil of leadership, and has brought together many people of various beliefs and backgrounds into a large, successful, and united region.

No forum drafting, so I'm kind of curious as to why they skipped that part. It's not unheard of for regional members to commend other regional members, like 9003 commending DGES or me commending Paffnia and Mark. I'm not really sure if I support this as written, it could've been expanded on by a lot.

Like, what does nonpareil mean? The list could have been expanded on because we have no idea what examples of diplomacy they've exhibited. What "treacherous organizations" have they blown the whistle on, and what exactly about? What tools and knowledge have they given to new nations? I probably won't be supporting this as written, but may support a better draft.

In English, 'non pareil' means "having no equal" or “a small flat disc of chocolate covered with sugar sprinkles." In French, it doesn't mean much of anything anymore - “sans pareil” would be the modern form.

Thoughts on this proposal: Opposed, primarily due to ridiculous levels of vagueness. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give this an Ali Dia.

• "Recognizing Neo Rome Republic as the outstanding member of the international community, and leader of Confederacy of Allied States" - Neo Rome Republic is THE outstanding gameplay diplomat? For "leader," read Chairman - which isn't R4 compliant #MakeTheCouncilThreeWalledAgain
• "Understanding that while unusual, The Security Council commends those who display outstanding and meritorious devotion to their home region" - believe it or not, the SC Commends a lot of people who work hard within a single region... they just work in GCRs and already-famous UCRs.
• "Acknowledging Neo Rome Republic’s commitment to Confederacy of Allied States through six continuous years of leadership and service" - This sounds like a solid base for a proper, well-written Commendation - but sadly it isn't. Also inb4 CoS and Falcania get Commended. If I have to ask questions about your draft, it's not good enough. If I can't ask those questions, then...

Did he co-ordinate the liberation of St Abby from DEN and friends? Did he convince a litany of NPO Delenda Est-ers to drop their hostilities against The Pacific? Was he responsible for knocking Soaring Tikal's Commend the Black Hawks out of quorum using his previous account? If you don't tell me what it is, I can't tell you why it's important!

Certainly. Successful? Probably. United? I suspect so. But - from what I've been given above - hardly on the cult-status level that Fudgetopia, Kandarin or Jakker have achieved with their respective regions.

So far as I recall (having been in the region once upon a time), it isn't anymore a self-commend than anyone in a region C&Cing someone else in the region.
