As I've outlined elsewhere, I recognise that what I did during this time was awful. Presently, I have nothing against the Land of Kings and Emperors. I did a stupid, awful thing, and I've tried to make amends with members of the LKE through apology where I can, such as J.S Talleyrand and Onderkelkia. I find that supporting life-time banishment for such actions, however justified it may seem, is a stretch. The very notion that people cannot change and should be eternally excluded from a community for such mistakes, though, does not perpetuate a good reflection of this community.

And I'll continue to apologise again, and again, and again. It may seem like I'm saying such out of frustration, but such could not be further from the truth. I apologise knowing that this is me trying to better myself through acknowledging my past wrongs and using it to make sure I don't needlessly add toxicity to another community.

I cannot offer anything to the LKE but words, where I've taken much from the LKE I cannot give back. This is an injustice that it is within nobody's power to fix, and I'll bear it with me for as long as I play this game. Of that, I have no doubt. Yet I would like to make it clear that those actions do not in their entirety reflect my opinions and who I am now. It is well within the LKE's right to oppose this resolution based off of the past, but I would definitely make the assertion that I've changed at least in part.

I don't want my past to drag other people down. I just want to play the game. I recognise that this cannot be achieved without me making up for what I've done, which is why I've done my best to help contribute to communities where I can, and (hopefully) positively contribute towards the game's atmosphere on the whole.

Given you're still saying things like this after you've since sworn you're done with the CCD, I find it very hard to believe you have any regret over what you did to LKE.

Doing that to a region's forum is one of top faux pas in the game and then you decided to spam people on discord. People literally spend years trying to get back into good graces with the community when that happens. This happened less than a year ago. I'm surprised this major issue is not being brought up more in the thread. I personally would not want a proposal for myself written by someone who has done what you have.

They didn't stoop to the level of creating a puppet to send telegrams that tried to discredit the author, and then subsequently denied being responsible. You, however, very much did.

What I'm talking about is the BS about Anime UwU not being your puppet and you having a clear vendetta against all of the "WA elite" which is quite clearly something that gives you an excuse to go after people who've beaten you time and time again. My stance on this commendation has not changed. Would I support it if it came to a vote? Yes. Do I think now is the best time? No.

But I'd like to note something else.

Observing this debate from the outside, I have grown very irritated by author of this proposal, who I believe is stacking up unforced errors and gaffes at their nominee's expense.

South Reinkalistan, your ongoing personal war with the CCD is eroding your credibility. And while CCD didn't have any credibility to start with, the conflict does unnecessary, real damage to Valentine Z's reputation, for which they do not deserve. You need to either take one for the team, and protect your nominee, by not perpetuating Shrew's yelling by continuing to debate him. Or you need to withdraw your proposal, swap places with your co-author, and resubmit, or even hand this proposal on to an author with less baggage.

Shrew will not go away. You've stuck your neck out by writing this, so take his punches, and do not let your nominee be hurt by your own history. As evidenced by massive community support, Val deserves nothing less.

I can't speak to what Shrew did because I didn't pay any attention to it. Ultimately, regardless of that, I think this is for the best. Unless people are suddenly okay with what seems to be various aspects of forum destruction-like behavior, the author's past would have overshadowed any nominee. This proposal, even if it passed, would always have that ickiness to it and likely would have faced a repeal.

The author does matter so yeah I'm sure it would be a lot different if someone like you submitted a proposal. And I'm not even focusing on Rein's CCD connection. It's the actions he committed against LKE that should not be condoned. Not sure if Valentine knew about them or not, but allowing Rein's involvement was a mistake. Chuck doesn't have a great history either, so I cannot speak to how that will affect things if he submits it instead.

Honestly I don't give a shit about the CCD. They can dig up whatever they want and Shrew can be as toxic as he wants to be when I bring this back out when the time is right. I can throw hands with Shrew and Joco just fine and I will gladly try again to commend someone who actually deserves it unlike two immature users with a combination persecution and martyr complex. They dug their own metaphorical grave with how they've acted so next time this comes to vote, I'll make sure to be the bulldozer that fills in those holes.

As for their claims of "No one is a friend online if you don't know them IRL", Bullshit. They say that because they tried to force "friendship" on others while hiding the truth.
