I must implore this august assembly to avoid accepting a proposal which inflicts such atrocities upon the English tongue, not least serves as propaganda for the fascist wing of the assembly.

Isn't like strategic redistribution of votres and political aliances a big part of being a Politic? Like, isn't that what democracy rolls all about? You have the total freedom to choose your political allies as well as your foes. So IMHO this wouldn't even go further than this forum post.

Yes people have argued that is the case, that the "offense" that is the motivation for this draft isn't even an offense at all; that it is actually just par for the course as far as politics is concerned. Voting blocs being formed has been a thing since voting has existed.

There nothing to punish our Secretary General for. This would be a righteous condemnation if ballot papers had been swapped out for Valentine Z votes under the table. There is no legal argument against the election of Kuriko as the election allowed for an infinite number of voting shifts. The World Assembly is not a canvas for personal issues. Sports are used to settle scores in peaceful societies.

Why is it nothing to the WA elite and their supporters when one of their people does something immoral but when the CCD does anything mildly wrong they get battered for it. This is why I voted for Jocospor because he wanted to end those corrupt and hypocritical practices.

Look, the Secretary-General is a joke position with no power. We didn’t want a fascist that would go in and cause a fuss and make everything harder to get elected for that, we wanted a fun candidate who would just try to improve some things, but recognized that they weren’t really in a powerful position. The election was literally an April fool’s joke, and Jocospor and their supporters were taking it too seriously, and the existence of this thread is evidence of that.

The WA Secretary-General position has zero power whatsoever, everywhere. That being said, that doesn't mean that the person holding the position can't try to improve things just by being themselves. I dont want people to go "oh, she's Secretary-General so she's powerful", I want to use it as a type of powerless leadership position that leads by example and tries to improve upon things without using power. If that rambling makes any sense.

First of all, the Us vs Them narrative that created the "WA Elite" is a fabrication by victim-complex extremists who either don't know how to write proper resolutions or can't see outside of their bubble that no one likes their beliefs and often times the attitude that comes with those beliefs. Case in point, you. Second of all, there is nothing immoral about politicking in and of itself.

Not only did many people prefer to elect some lesbian catgirl nation over Jocospor, they would have preferred to elect just about anyone over Jocospor. As in, in a list of 100 candidates, Jocospor would be the 101st choice- right after "abstain vote".

This wasn't some conspiracy committed by WA Elite masterminds or something. Jocospor is just that wildly unpopular with many different people, regions, and groups, whether they be in communication with one another or not. While certain candidates may have publicly requested vote changes, they received large support due to several other people already having the same idea and being on board with it.

And before you counter with, "Jocospor wasn't unpopular! He almost made 5th in Round 3!" Yeah, and something like 90%+ of his votes came from CCD or its allies which are almost exclusively fascist/nazi themed regions. Which is exactly why an overwhelming majority of the rest of NS wanted to shut him out.

While Kuriko's actions may have been unethical in the general sense, they are certainly not illegal (this is coming from someone who voted and supported her campaign btw). I'm 99% sure that Kuriko's intentions were pure in keeping out Jocospor and nothing more than a little political fun.
And I bet you never knew I could have regrets for all the things that make you see RED but all I see is PURPLE instead.

Wrong on both counts. It’s not unethical, and merely being legal does not discount condemnability. Again
