Another day, another condemnation attempt. Speaking on behalf of
Lily, where I hold the offices of Triumvir of the Louloúdia and Stélechos of Foreign Affairs, we hereby oppose this condemnation due to the bad quality of the writing, the factual inaccuracies, and the suspect motives of the individuals behind this resolution - who I believe are affiliated with the late
The Grey Wolves GWS. While we concede that a good many individuals and regions may have adequate justifications for attempting to bring a condemnation against us, such a resolution must stand on its merits and must be reflective of our actual, established misdeeds.

FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING raiding is a hinderance and a restriction on many regions and nations, preventing peaceful existence and general happiness
This does not distinguish us from any other region or organization involved in raiding, a rather remarkable fact given that we have a niche reputation for excellent tag raids involving small groups of raiders and large numbers of targets. If you're intent on condemning us, you'll need a good deal more substance than utterances of vanilla "raiding." It might be worthwhile to mention some regions our members have raided and refounded as well or active communities that we've brutalized.
Oxes Republic wrote:NOTING that Lily claims to be a “military organization” that both defends and attacks opposing regions.
Our military is apolitical, independent, and inter-regional. The wording of this is a bit odd. Perhaps elaborate on why these aspects of our military are especially insidious or deleterious to the broader NS community? I find they foster unity and friendship if anything.
Oxes Republic wrote:FURTHER NOTING that member nations of Lily only defend regions after the region has been sucessfully raided and taken over by the raiding nations of Lily.
Is this a condemnation of our region as a whole or particular membership? In any case, it's inaccurate.
Lily has collaborated with defender organizations in the past to engage in liberations and defenses, most especially when protecting regions targeted by
The Black Hawks. Individual members have also engaged in liberations, detags, and community-building operations in a multitude of regional organizations outside
Lily, though these would warrant an individually targeted resolution to address any perceived heroics or misdeeds. It makes no sense to commend or condemn
Lily as a whole for what someone did with
Hartfelden or
Elparia.

You and me both.
Oxes Republic wrote:APALLED that on April 6th, 2018, Member Nations of Lily participated in “Operation Supernova”, in which the raiding nations sucessfully raided 838 small regions, many of which are inactive currently or have ceased to exist,
Operation Supernova was a rather large one, but I'm not certain we hit that many regions. The largest wave, set on April 14th of 2018's major update, snagged 407 regions in a single hour and a half. If my math is correct, all three waves of that operation resulted in a total of 848 hits. This is certainly an accomplishment that some might consider worthy enough to warrant a condemnation, but the details here are inaccurate and you have yet to demonstrate that tag raiding is especially heinous - unless sheer volume counts for something.

How many WA Delegates have complained though?

You're shocked by how pretty our WFEs are, right? Right?
