Dear Fellow WA Delegates and Members,
My nation, The Kingdom of Cambria, is the WA Delegate from Philosophy 115. As the new delegate, I have a topic for your consideration and discussion prior to the writing of an official proposal. The World Assembly serves as a force for peace, humanitarian aid, disaster assistance, cooperation, and peacekeeping throughout the multiverse of NationStates. Serving in the World Assembly is a commendable task, and the services provided by various nations' military, police, and other civil organizations should be recognized by the World Assembly properly and officially. Therefore, as a delegate, I am looking for guidance, thoughts, and assistance with a proposal for a World Assembly Medal for Service. The basic idea is to mark the service of nations in World Assembly on various 'missions' of the WA; the medal would be given to each nation when appropriate, with the medal forming part of the order of precedence for the respective nation. For nations such as my own, a WA Medal would be an interesting addition, but for other nations, this may be the only, or first decoration they have for their nation, and the addition of more could spark greater international sharing, cooperation, and prosperity. Further, the medal may increase interest in the WA, it's missions and goals, and membership. If this has some traction, I'd welcome your comments, either in this forum or directly as a telegram. The design of the medal, ribbon, etc. is TBD pending interest and support for the concept. The Kingdom of Cambria has a keen interest and is willing to design and develop prototypes for consideration, along with any others, if desired. Thank you for your consideration and time. I look forward to your comments.
Respectfully,
Kingdom of Cambria, WA Delegate, Philosophy 115
