Don't Commend Aussandries!

Postby A Rosa » Fri Jan 04, 2019 4:43 am

This thread is about how this is a terrible, idiotic idea!

Looking at the proposals for the Security Council you will see the Proposal to "Commend Aussandries"
In this proposal its noting how great of a job he's done running a relatively small, region called The Slide Countries

If you even look in to the region you can see how ridiculous this proposal is.

1. Warmonger
Without a shadow of a doubt Aussandries is a warmonger, recently he has come up with a "list" of who to nuke, and why are these nations being nuked might you ask? Surely there must be a good reason for this threat.
1. Youve been featured is on the list for denying a embassy with his region.
2. Tsunamy is on the list for denying an embassy with his region.
3. The Legion of Mankind is on the list for simple insults to ally region to his.

So can you see a pattern? He gives threats of Nuking nations for denying his embassy requests. Doesn't sound like someone who should be commended in the international community?

2. His Region
He founded his region (The Slide Countries) in early 2018 and most of his claims for a commendation come out of his achievements.

1. First of all he runs this "great" region with a iron fist, he has complete control.

2. Oh WOW you run elections once a month for small meaningless roles.
Oh WOW you founded a football tournament.

3. Raiding
Conducting a raid in your region you control is apparently a achievement, well maybe it could be an achievement if we weren't talking about a nation being Commended by the International community, why should raiding be seen as a reason to be commended?

Conclusion
Listen I'm sure he means well but it is way to soon in his career to be commended, to be commended is meant to be a great and meaningful honor and not to be chucked around to any old start up. Yes well done on founding a region and growing it to 100 residents in a year, but right now you haven't done enough internationally to earn a commendation by the WA.

Yours,
The Kingdom of A Rosa.

How dare you
”I’ve always been leery of the United Nations. The very concept is comically dichotomous. Nations putting their self-interests aside in the hopes of building a global community, holding hands and Kumbaya? I mean, honestly, it’s like kindergarten. Do you have rug time? I did love rug time.”

Don't take it as an insult, read the conclusion at the end, he has done some notable things but its way too soon to give him a commendation.

Is there any reason for this thread to exist? You could just campaign with the delegates instead of this.

Don't worry about it. The SC takes self commends very poorly.

If this proposal makes it to quorum (looks very unlikely) a less biased OP’s thread can be made to debate the proposal.
