Would you care to elaborate on the "harm" that IA has done to the community for those of us who do not know very much about the GA? I'm genuinely curious.
His repeated refusal to draft his proposals, under the pretense that doing so would offer no useful input, betrays a disregard for the community's activity and interests. It also demonstrates a belief that he is better than everyone else, and I would argue that such arrogance is hardly a positive influence on the GA community.
Also, he's passed plenty of bad resolutions, and attempted to pass many others, several of which have been found illegal at vote. I think that should be taken into account when celebrating someone's authorship.
