The Security Council,

Recognizing East Durthang's leader Lord of Darkness (LoD) as the newest Emperor of the New Pacific Order (NPO) in The Pacific;

Noting the many wrongdoings committed by and under the previous administrations of previous NPO Emperors:

• Spying on The North Pacific, in addition to a long tradition of sabotage and other acts of aggression against The North Pacific dating back to the reign of Francos Spain
• Additionally spying on all of the other Feeder regions
• Engineering of the 2017-2018 Civil War in Lazarus
• Attempted subversion in Osiris
• Usage of xenophobia, prejudice, and fear-mongering to justify tyranny at home in The Pacific as well as hostile interference in governments abroad

Believing that LoD's actions to create a policy of transparency, such as plainly disclosing past efforts to undermine and sabotage other regions have assuaged many concerns about actions by previous Emperors;

In Awe of the work that LoD has already completed to correct past wrongs, including making reparations to affected regions, such as Osiris and The North Pacific;

Joyous that the new beginning was started by disbanding the corrupt and incompetent senate;

Grateful that the new Emperor is eschewing the ultra-regionalist totalitarianism of the past and making strides to usher in an era of democracy and tolerance;

Impressed by LoD's dedication to making cultural changes of undeniable significance in the oldest region in NationStates;

Praising LoD's commitment to freedom and the fight against raider tyranny by giving the NPO a staunch defender alignment;

Holding that these actions will serve to return The Pacific to the bastion of virtue, liberty, and dignity that it once was under the delegacy of Unlimited;

Hereby Commends East Durthang

Falling over themselves to lick the new Emperor's boots after they manage to look marginally better than their predecessor is a weak response, and really shows the community at large exactly how little TEP actually cares about the systematic infiltration of its fellow GCRs.
