As well, the focus should be on the actions of the Pacific government rather than that of the region itself. We have to remember that this will be a badge that the nations of the Pacific will read, a dispatch that we will put up for them. So it's important that we use this to inform the nations of the Pacific about what their government and specific government members have done, particularly given the promises made in previous years.

This proposal so far is not yet where it needs to be.

How should I write that bit in? I can't think of how to write it in :(

Abhorred by the Pacific's betrayal of trust built with Lazarus following their supposed contrition over a hostile takeover in 2015, as proven by the existence of a "Task Force" specially designed to infiltrate and destabilize the government of Lazarus, resulting in a civil war;

Noting the previous repeal of the Pacific's prior condemnation for such actions was passed on the grounds of forgiveness and reconciliation, while in fact the government of the Pacific made no true commitments to end such activities against sister regions;

Resenting the withholding of crucial information by the Pacific from the international community concerning harmful elements and deceitful persons that could have been used to make the community safer and less toxic, while harbouring such undesirable elements secretly;

Wholeheartedly believing that the "New Pacific Order", as an instrument of governance in the Pacific, has done more harm than good for the world and is a systematically oppressive institution that meddles in the sovereignty of other regions, despite repeated promises and acts of contrition to do otherwise on the part of its leadership, all of which have proven to be baseless and without substance...

Or something like that.

I for one welcome this condemnation. It's a sign of failure and impotence on behalf of those who would oppose us that all you can do is force a vote in the WA and put a nice shiny little badge of pride on our regional page, because you know you can do absolutely nothing more material. We have stood for 15 years and shall continue our dominion over the Pacific and to act with impunity however we see fit. Every loyal Pacifican laughs in the face of this proposal.

Against. It seems as if this condemnation is merely a revenge proposal written by those waging war with the NPO. I'm neutral on the matter, though I will be voting against this revenge proposal.

I for one support this proposal. Hopefully this will rouse more regions to support the fight against the NPO.

I have submitted a competing draft, and I wanted to stop by to say to Indo-Malaysia no harsh feelings, and I did start floating my text via discord before this thread was ever posted. I feel like specifically a resolution like this needs to have something similar to this line from the original:
Urging the native nations of The Pacific to demand reform from the NPO, to bring an end to its domestic tyranny and foreign imperialism, so that one day The Pacific may reconcile with the interregional community and this condemnation will no longer be necessary,

As that was the most toothy statement, and one that I think needs to be restated for certain now even more strongly.

So you didn't infiltrate and subvert GCRs and UCRs? K then

Lying through our teeth? Interesting. But no, the only one lying through their teeth is you. And I have a whole pile of evidence to back this claim up. Do you?

Eh. I mean, the NPO did do a lot of, uh, worrisome things, as their actions across other GCRs have shown. I personally don't think that's condemnable, as I myself honestly don't care too much for GCR stuff, which is the only reason I'm against it really. It seems to be intended as a revenge proposal, though if others interpret it differently, that doesn't mean they're 'lying through their teeth'.

The Pacific's betrayal of Lazarus hates you?

Does the SC have authorial withdrawal support like the GA does? Because this seems awfully rushed.

SC does indeed have an ability for authors to withdraw, though I doubt this will make quorum (or make it before the other one).
