The World Assembly,
Aware that the Security Council often does work that has a symbolic impact as much as a practical one;
Acknowledging, therefore, that the self-proclaimed symbolic nature of Security Council Resolution #247 'Liberate The East Pacific' is not grounds for repeal on its own;
However, convinced that even the symbolic impact of SC #247 is misplaced;
Noting that SC #247 deals almost exclusively with the actions of Queen Yuno and questioning the desirability of the precedent of the SC punishing a region for the actions which really are attributable to just a single nation;
Questioning the judgment of SC #247 being liberation when, given the arguments of the resolution, a condemnation would be a suitable way for the Security Council to express its displeasure with the region, if truly justified;
Knowing that the delegations of member nations have differing opinions about what liberation resolutions role should be, but convinced few feel it should be a substitute for a condemnation;
Wishing for the various precedents created by #SC 247 to be unequivocally rejected by this august body and now and into the future;
Hereby repeals World Assembly Security Council Resolution #247 'Liberate The East Pacific'
