Plus, national personification is a thing, and I'm pretty sure Stalker would personify his nation as a beastly demon.

It's iffy enough that it may be in your best interest to change it. Also, it's confusing if you make edits on a separate post that isn't the OP. Currently, the OP is not the most up-to-date draft.

Now that you have the nation's leader, and not the nation, doing the prowling and searching for souls, I have a much easier time accepting the "'beast' is merely poetic" argument.

With the [violet]/Violet thing fixed as well (though I'd still prefer the proper pronoun "Her" instead of the common pronoun "her" if you're referring to a deity), I'd most likely vote the current version legal.

I wrote the Commendation for Hell and about half of the support it received was because it was funny. That was over two years ago. The Security Council has always had joke proposals. There is nothing wrong with them.

People are making a fuss about the Security Council right now because of controversial legislation, and stubborn authors that don't accept any input. Not because of proposals like this.

To some people its not just a game MM, there's been plenty of evidence of that. I know its a game, I'm not stressed out over it, yet I kind of take the SC seriously because I like authoring for it.

I'm well aware of why Commend Hell had such support, I even supported it but not because it was funny but because it was deserved. Liberate TEP, however, I supported because it was funny as heck . There are two types of joke proposals, funny proposals and stupid proposals. In my mind, this falls into the stupid joke proposal category.

I'm going to have to side with Kuriko here. I hold the SC to a high regard, because I hope to be honored by it some day. When I see a target that I don't believe warrants a Commendation or Condemnation or a joke proposal, I take it as an insult to those I've helped to commend and I take it as an insult on myself. Yeah, its a game. But it's a game I've put a lot of time and energy into. I've been deeply honored to have had my name brought up for consideration a couple of times and I've been deemed unworthy thus far. I have a desire to be worthy of a Commendation someday. I'm still working toward that goal, because its special to me. I want my banner to be lifted up to the rafters so I can join the ranks as one of the "Greats" of this game. Its supposed to be the ultimate honor this community can bestow among its members. Raiders have their Hall of Fame, Defenders have their Lifetime Achievement Awards, but to be given a badge by the game itself that states that you left your mark on this game is a step above and I don't think its value can be overstated.

This latest shameless attempt to further your own popularity as the game's leading socialite is an insult to regions like The Black Hawks that actually accomplish something in their time on NationStates. I don't know how TBH feels, but I am offended. This further cements the idea that the SC is little more than a popularity contest and actually building something is not valued. Gameplay is dying and I believe its directly correlated to the social game being valued above creating content.
