Just a little Background, Fregrickstan, has been the Delegate for British Steel for some time. He has done a lot for British Steel and the World Assembly. Fregrickstan has recently retired form the position of Delegate to the World Assembly for British Steel; I would appreciate your support in honoring Fregrickstan for his service to the World Assembly and the British Steel.

Worthy of commendation within the region concerned, perhaps, but exactly what is the government of this 'Fregrickstan' supposed to have done within the World Asembly that would make their commendation by the WA as a whole a worthwhile use of our time? I do not recall even seeing their ambassador participate in any of the drafting sessions and debates for international legislation, let alone seeing them listed as author or co-author of any resolutions...

I have searched for posts with Fregrickstan as the author, and guess what? Not one single post! Why should there even be a discussion of commending Fregrickstan when he has absolutely no contributions to the WA!

You are free to put up such a proposal for vote, but I sincerely doubt enough delegates will approve of it to get to an actual vote. It seems people don't recognize him.

Get a bit more detailed in what he's done and I'll consider voting for, haven’t been a delegate in a while, so I can't help you there though.

I think you either don't fully understand what you get with a C/C or you've truly underestimate the WA Power Brokers... They've controlled what the GA passed for years, and now they fear they won't be able to control that with the SC. Even if your proposal gets a moderate amount of approvals they will harass you, hunt you, flame you.

Thought you should be warned. I've seen you propose several proposals, and most of them get several supporters. When you eventually do get one through, you should be prepared.

No.
...or maybe it is, and ALL delegates should be commended. ...but hmmm ... that's not practical, is it? So what has this guy done that puts him head and shoulders above the rest? With the weak writeup we've seen so far, I'm sure hundreds of others could make the same claim. The writeup for the current commendation isn't any better but somehow it seems it will pass; it's hard to predict such things here.

The purpose of this resolutions are to commend Nations within the World Assembly and Nation State. Fregrickstan has contributed much to the region of British Steel, and he has recently retired as our regions Delegate, I am asking you all for support in moving forward this resolution. I would greatly appriciate your understanding and support for this resolution.

I believe the question here is, what has Fregrickstan done, in what exceptional way has he performed his duties, etc., which make him more worthy of a Commendation than any other retiring WA Delegate?
