Well, the SC recognixes all R&I rp's as official so

I’m one of the nations in the war against Atkemri. While I was one of the ones to point out their numerous war crimes and initially supported this condemnation, it’s beginning to seem more than a little unimportant to the rest of the game’s players in hindsight...

Well, considering that it doesn't really affect much in the NS community, I would say your hindsight is quite appropriate.

Do you really think it has any effect? It's like giving someone a badge. It has nothing.

They can’t really commit many more illegal actions when their nation is in total collapse. Not to mention neither condemnations nor commendations do much. It’s like giving a kid a gold star or a dunce hat. It draws attention to him, but little else.

But you do realize it has little to no effect, right? It won't do anything to stop them.

That's not even my goal. It's just to recognize his bad choices.

Commendations and condemnations are one of the highest honors in NationStates. Condemnations are a reward for players who are great at being evil IC, and RP condemnations are only given to the best role-players. Atkemri is less than a year old, and their RP does not seem to be above-average or extraordinary. Their RP does not merit a condemnation.

^this. Condemnations are rewards for being good at raiding, or being extremely good at role playing as an evil nation. They are not badges awarded to average role players who have been moderately evil. Do not submit this.

I concur with everything Marsupial said. Unless we keep the standard for RP condemns high, any Joe Schmoe could "earn" a condemn.
