Condemn NationStates 2 The Game

Greetings Leaders, Compatriots and Friends,

I have presented a proposal to the World Assembly to Condemn the Game Nation States 2, as like me, I am sure many of you were unsatisfied with the game that is NationStates 2 and further upset by reading Max Barry's Opinion Found Here

The Proposal is as follows, and can be found Here

Description: RECOGNISING that the game NationStates 2 was designed to be an improved version of NationStates for the enjoyment of all players of NationStates

BELIEVING that this game has not delivered on the hopes and expectations of NationStates players throughout the game.

SUPPORTING the views of the original game creator, Max Barry who has written ''as a whole it's a pale, deformed version of the game I designed''

ANGERED that the NationStates 2 game has only stolen more and more potential NationStates players from the original game.

BELIEVING that this game needs to be publicly condemned and that the NationStates Community should show a united opinion of this ''deformed'' game.

The first question which has to be asked is whether we can actually condemn something that is not a region or nation via the current game mechanics. We're essentially condemning an idea here that has no actual representation in the world of NationStates.

As for the resolution itself, I take issue with the following point in particular:

ANGERED that the NationStates 2 game has only stolen more and more potential NationStates players from the original game.

As far as I know, NS2 is officially shut down by Jolt. It is essentially dead. So at the very least, the tense is wrong in the above point.

EDIT: In addition, I think this proposal just goes too far with regards to the Fourth Wall. It can be argued that the previous C&Cs have been looking through a "window" in the at the player(s) behind the nation or region being nominated. In the realm of Gameplay especially, where the lines of IC and OOC can become blurred, this is probably somewhat necessary to writing a good resolution.

This resolution is more akin to driving a truck through the Wall so as to run someone over whose passing by outside.
