[DRAFT] Condemn the South Pacific

Postby Jonathanatopia4 » Sun Dec 10, 2017 9:28 am

The South Pacific has an establishment, who have flooded the region with corruption over the last few years. Several anti-establishment parties have tried to win elections there, but have come short. After TSP Next exposed them though, they are keeping them from being freely elected. Because of this, I am testing the waters for a condemnation resolution of TSP.

The fact you're using a non-WA nation to do post this is pretty clear evidence you're somebody's puppet. Either Invictean or associated with him.

Also, literally every sentence in your original post is false.

I suspect the WA will not be particularly receptive considering one of Invictean's RMB posts that led to us banjecting him has since been mod-deleted.

A look through his RMB posts (including those from before he came to TSP), does a better job of arguing against this than I ever could.

They are bitter for being banned from TSP.

For the record, they were banned for trolling. The fact they were also calling for the murder of all communists and the overthrow of the regional government did not help.

After looking at those RMB posts, i am disavowing Invictean and moving on to the establishment problem.

Okay, I offer an addendum to my previous claim. The puppet might instead be his fellow party member "Morgantown West Virginia". There's a possible period of multi-ing, but they each joined/left the WAs within half an hour of each other.

Of course we need to condemn TSP, as we all know, it’s just a TGW-run feeder anyway!

Let's break down the OP.

"The South Pacific has an establishment"
20 different people have won elections in 2017. Pretty big 'establishment'.

"who have flooded the region with corruption over the last few years"
We actually have a more open government than ever, with the entirely gameside-elected Local Council now having significant power over the gameside, including border control (indeed, it was the LC who made the decision to banject Invictean).

"Several anti-establishment parties have tried to win elections there, but have come short"
There are 3 parties who have had candidates in elections this year: APC, TIL, and SPP. All of them have had at least one candidate win an election.

"After TSP Next exposed them though, they are keeping them from being freely elected"
In the short time it has existed, TSP next has done nothing but complain, without any attempt to actually improve TSP. They have never fielded a candidate for any election.

The establishment part is reaching, and is really just attempts at rhetoric against a forum government regardless of any facts.
The corruption part is completely baseless and has no evidence or examples.
To my knowledge there have been no "anti-establishment" parties before now, some candidates have run on platforms of increasing gameside power but those have all won or lost by fair democratic vote.
TSP Next "exposed" literally nothing, besides spewing blatantly false far-right rhetoric.
No members of TSP next have been blocked from running for election, first of all we haven't even had any elections since it was created but also that the individual was banned for trolling and open hate speech.

I miss anything else?

Why bother fielding a candidate for election when the establishment brands you as a bunch of troublemakers not to be trusted or listened to.

TSP Next was formed just a couple of weeks ago, there haven't been any elections since then. The points that were made in the OP are still factually incorrect, which is what my post was stating.

OOC: any proof this "establishment" is real?

And you can still do it, people can vote for whomever they want.
