SC Proposal: Commend East Malikay

I am writing to you all today to discuss Security Council Proposal "Commend East Malikay." The nation of East Malikay gives much into the development of our region and asks almost nothing in return. He runs two separate nations, one in each of two regions who hate each other as a whole, and gives in his best effort to both regions at risk of being punished in either one. He works hard to maintain peace between the two regions, regardless that several members of each would wish to kill or hack one another. I believe it is because of East Malikay that both regions are still standing, and thank him for it.

There are several other reasons he should be commended for his nation alone, as listed on the commendation proposal I have written and submitted to the security council. I ask you to please approve this proposal, and give this man what he has truly earned.

The World Assembly's Esteemed Security Council,

NOTING the contributions of East Malikay to the world at large.

IMPRESSED by the East Malikayans undying efforts to help nations in need across the globe, and maintaining peace within it's own borders.

APPLAUDING East Malikay's frequent ability to find diplomatic or peaceful situations where none exist.

HIGHLIGHTING East Malikay's contributions to the UROS, despite danger from the mildly hostile region APSIA.

ACKNOWLEDGING that East Malikay has contributed more to their own region than any other nation so far.

FURTHER IMPRESSED that even in times of almost assured self destruction, East Malikay stands by it's allies to the very last.

Hereby Commends the Oppressed Peoples of East Malikay

Although this proposal appears to be legal in my reading, I would still encourage you to draft before submitting. RP based proposals, which I believe this, have a very high bar for acceptance.

In addition, not only does the text have a few grammatical errors, you're commending a nation that's merely two months old. Many will say that is nowhere near long enough for someone to make an "outstanding contribution by a nation or region".

First of all, there’s no draft before it’s submisdion for us to truly peer review. This is a disadvantage, as it allows more troublesome flaws in your proposal that many would find unfit for approval. Plus, there are many grammatical errors that makes it identical sloppy and rushed.

The reasons seem weak and run-of-the-mill, and are especially almost non-existent when utilized in your RP. Commendations based on RP are hard to create, as they require a worthy target. This nation is only 2 months old, which is far away from the age range of commendable nations. Plus, all your reasons seems to be nothing special. Just some regular things simple to do. Nothing really noticeable. If they did something important, great. But I’m the grand scheme of things,!your list just seems unimpressive.

It’s in my opinion that this is unsalvageable. This nation doesn’t seem to have anything worth even a notice, and the rocket has launched, with large leaks in its tank.

I'm not saying anything you said is wrong, but you really didn't say anything that we didn't already say and you were a lot more rude about it. The SC is one of the quietest forums and in no small part I think it's because most newcomers are beaten senseless the first step they take in. I don't expect to change the culture of this forum completely, but I would like to nudge it in a different direction, if possible. So how about being a bit more constructive in your criticism in the future?
