Commend Tsunamy

Some are questioning whether Tsunamy is worthy of a commendation, since his actions have only benefited one region and not the wider NS world. However, it should be noted that there have been three commendations from the past that commend a nation for their actions concerning one region only: 1 Infinite Loop, A Slanted Black Stripe, and Fudgetopia. All three were feeder delegates. These commendations show that you don't have to affect the wider NS world in order to be commended. Actions in one feeder are sufficient.

Of course, this doesn't mean that the draft is any good. The candidate is commendable, but the draft is not.

I do think Tsu is worthy of commendation for a variety of reasons, but this proposal barely touches on the surface of it, and obviously, a significant amount of additional research is needed. Tsu's been in TSP since 2003, been a forum admin for much of that, held a variety of positions including Minister of Foreign Affairs, Director of Intelligence, and Delegate; Tsu was a spearhead of South Pacifican journalism back in the day with SPIN; and really has been a cornerstone and leading figure of South Pacifican democracy for many, many years; and much more.

So yeah - Commend Tsunamy, but not like this.

For once, I would have to agree with you. For example, with my Rejected Realms Commendation, it took 4 drafts and three failed proposals to refine it down to where it currently is.

This is something, but isn't worded very well. How has it been helpful? How has it increased democracy? Why is allowing people who don't have forum accounts to vote a good idea?

E.g.: Tsunamy has been a major proponent of the Local Council, a system which expands the scope of democracy in the South Pacific through allowing more nations to participate in votes.

That's not perfect but just an example.

Do you mean the CSS, and did he create it?

Regardless again you could explain /how/ it was increased security.

E.g.: Tsunamy oversaw the creation of the CSS, a body of trusted and respected nations, who work together to protect the South Pacific from threats.

So? If you want this to be in I'd probably open with it. Or attach it to other small pieces.

We've got a reoccuring theme here. You're just listing roles, presumably from doing a minimum amount of research. You need to talk about what he did in these roles and why it's significant.

It's "festival devoted to him". You can only refer to nations as if they were nations and not players. The use of personal pronouns (him/her) has been ruled in violation of that rule.

"Forum" is fine, since it can also refer to a meeting of the representatives of nations, or a physical avenue for such meetings.
You can also refer to "forum administration" and, maybe, "banned from the forums of [region]" in that sense.
The only things that wouldn't be allowed are terms such as 'offsite forum'.
