[SUBMITTED] Repeal "Liberate Dank Memes"

Postby Forces of Doom » Fri Apr 14, 2017 2:13 am

The Security Council of The World Assembly,

NOTING that the resolution was originally meant to stop HYDRA Command from refounding Dank Memes into a
trophy region.

ACKNOWLEDGING that while the proposal did not stop Dank Memes from being refounded, it was refounded because of an agreement between Dank Memes and Nazi Europa to hawk the region from HYDRA Command

FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING that Captain Woodhouse imposed a password and closed Dank Memes, making them all move to their new home, DankMemes, where they are still there at the time of the writing of this proposal.

OBSERVING that a liberation strikes down Delegate-Imposed barriers, but a liberation does not work when a founder imposed the password,

HEREBY REPEALS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION #205, LIBERATE DANK MEMES

If you can't be bothered to spell check your proposal why should anyone support it?

While many of us agree that 205 should be removed from the books, I would not support this sloppily written attempt.

You don't need to put this in your repeal. It does that for you automatically.

Somewhat better.

Ok couple of bits of advice. Firstly space the clauses out, looks better. Secondly, I understand what you're trying to say, it's just that it does not come across clearly.

Finally your "Further Acknowledging" and "Observing" clauses are saying exactly the same thing. Also it's not a Liberation Proposal you are trying to repeal, it's a Liberation. It was a proposal until it was passed.

Glad to see you're making an effort to improve.

So should I put...
The Security Council of The Wa,
or nothing at all?

Nothing at all. That line is a boilerplate in every WA repeal submitted, GA or SC.
In=character, Kaboomlandia is a World Assembly member and abides by its resolutions. If this nation isn't in the WA, it's for practical reasons.

So I also have to remove 'The Security Council of The World Assembly'?

No, you can keep that. Tinhampton and Kaboomlandia were both referring to "Security council resolution #205 should be struck out and rendered null and void", which is automatically added when you submit a repeal proposal.

Ah. Thank you.

May I inquire about the subtle Saudi flag watermark in your nation flag?

What has that got to do with the draft?

Talking about which:

FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING that Captain Woodhouse imposed a password and closed Dank Memes, making them all move to their new home, DankMemes, where they are still there at the time of the writing of this proposal

In this clause I think you should really mention that a Founder imposed password is not affected by a Liberation, making the Liberation pointless, something like that anyway.

Precisely!

What is wrong with a Saudi watermark? Maybe take a look at your own flag first. By the way, sorry to hear RR didn't make it.
