You should make a new topic for drafting resolutions.

I will say however, CTE'ing is not a good reason to repeal a c/c, the resolution should stand as a reminder for the future.

Ceasing to exist is not a good enough reason to repeal a C/C.

Post this as a draft in a separate thread... or don't because this is gonna get a big shitstorm in its direction. Ceasing to exist is not a reason to lose a badge.

That doesn’t mean that the events referenced in the resolution didn’t happen. The C/C is not all about the shiny badge.

You're right. Instead, its also about if the nation ceased to exist or not.

Traden's assertation that the player behind DFD cannot revive her nation simply because she allowed it to cease to exist while Condemned is - as far as I know - untrue. Blackhelm Confederacy, whose badge has also been targeted by another nation with an animal GIF flag, has been refounded at least once while being Condemned.

I believe you are correct. There is a difference between a name being reserved and a nation being lost. The only way to completely lose a nation is to have it deleted or retired iirc.

Can you roughly copy text from old proposals that never went to vote and whose owners have CTE or is that considered plagiarism?

Yes, in the (generally exceedingly likely) event that you do not have permission from those CTEd individuals to do so.

Declarations? Founding G20?

What is up with the declarations? I can't seem to find any threads about such a thing becoming a thing nor can you submit a declaration to the WA currently.

So like, what's up?

Can a proposal condemn the past actions of a nation? (that is, in in-game terms, those undertaken by a previous government?)

I was going over the rules because I think it may be high time for me to start trying to author at least one WA resolution, and I saw in certain instances, most notably in the new box on Declarations, some areas of the rules require or recommend a “moderator nod of approval” to see if it’s good before submitting. How would one respectfully ask for this without like, y’know, bothering the mods?

I’m sorry if this was asked already, but if it was, all I’d really need is a link. I tried to search within the thread for answers but it came up blank. Maybe I didn’t try hard enough?

Thank you for your time.

Discussed here:
Sedgistan wrote:I'm making an effort to read everything posted here, daily. I know most the other SC mods are also making an effort to keep up to speed with things. As part of that, I'm posting in Declaration drafting threads already to give feedback on legality; the only ones I'm not bothering with are clearly joke proposals.

If you haven't got mod feedback on legality yet and want it, post something in the thread to that effect, or change your title as Fris suggests.
