should there region truces?

Region truces could benefit your region in many ways. Your country could receive supplies or food form other nations outside of your regions. It's very profitable. :) A down side of out-of region truces could be you lose money due to not getting quality products. Region truces/war alliances/ trading partner could help expand the player of the game and allow new possibilities! ;)

A suggestion like this belongs in the Technical forum, not the Security Council.

Max Barry the creator and owner of this site already stated he'll never add any war mechanics to NS as it'll require a significant portion of the game to be re coded/programmed, which will take a lot of time for the admins to do. Plus, Max never wanted NS to be a war simulation site. NS is strictly a political simulation game and only that.
