[DRAFT] Commend The Embassy

Postby Floor 448 » Sun Mar 20, 2016 7:55 pm

Of course I'm experienced enough to draft legislation, I'm an experienced player, remember? :D
The World Assembly,

OBSERVING [region=The Embassy]'s goal of constructing as many embassies as possible,

SEEING that they have so far succeeded in building over 1,200 embassies to date,

RECALLING that residents in embassy regions can submit semi-permanently recorded communications to the region to be viewed by any nation,

CONCLUDING that [region=The Embassy] has thus allowed open communication between thousands of nations,

ASTOUNDED by this feat of improving interregional diplomacy,

Hereby commends [region=The Embassy].

I have to go to bed now though; I'll probably be back in about ten hours.
Guess who I am! Or, rather, was.

They've built a lot of embassies. That doesn't merit commendation.
While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

Agreed. No reason to commend them.

Against. The Embassy embassy spams other regions, even if it is stated on the WFE of regions they won't accept their embassy. They will request embassies even if you already declined it previously. Not only that, but clicking to request embassies with a whole bunch of regions quite simply ain't commendable.

Precisely. It is clearly stated on the WFE of The North American Union to contact UFoC for embassy requests BEFORE submitting them. I will oppose this commendation on those grounds alone.

Herby's doors and windows are ALWAYS locked when she's in the Strangers' Bar (unless she unlocks them for you). And, she has no accelerator, a mock steering wheel, and no gear shifter. So, no joyrides.
