New WA Nations Act

Postby The Abu Dhabi State » Mon Jan 26, 2015 4:30 pm

-- SC Preposition - AD SCP1 - 26/1/2015 --

As many have noticed it is quite simple to get your country into the world assembly which is quiet blizzard realizing that then they have the power to vote on resolutions and make prepositions without significant experience. So in this preposition I have a solution, making a list of requirements for new nations so there is a way to verify new nations are reliable enough to join the World Assembly ( already present members won't be effected by these requirements. ) So I present to you;

-- World Assembly Requirements --

1) Having at least 2 endorsers
2) Having at least one strength [Economy, Freedom, Politics]
3) Having a positive reputation with others
4) A recommendation from at least 3 WA members.
5) Having at least 5 industries [economical RP]
6) Being in NationsStates for a minimum of one month

These new requirements should prevent any new countries or inexperienced leaders from having the strength of a voice in the WA.

Upon the acceptance of this proposal if a nation does not match these requirements it will not be allowed into the WA or SC, If it does match requirements a fair vote will be made.

Sorry mate, but the WA is a gameplay mechanic. I don't think it would be easy to change it into something like this.

All nations in the World Assembly are by default members of the Security Council (and General Assembly). This is a gameplay mechanic that has been in place since 2009 and the chances of that changing are slim to none.

1. Very impractical.
2. Why?
3. How would you measure this?
4. And you want an entirely new feature to do this?
5. Why? What if they're an anarchy?
6. Again, why? Most people aren't here for more than a month...
