Mall tried to open up an inactive region for raiding which is a legitimate use of the Liberation proposal. The fact that an entire community then responds by calling for his resignation is a bigger issue than him posting a proposal?

Please explain how it is inactive as it is a RP region?

The inactive really has no affect on whether or not the community should calm down.

Also, very few regions deserve to be raided. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be.

Mall's position as a moderator is highly relevant because it carries with it certain authority. That isn't to say that moderators can't play various aspects of the game, but they should conduct themselves keeping in mind that their behavior is rightly under more scrutiny.

Its an RP region, they use IRCs, I know for a fact its delegate is an active RPer as I said before RP regions activity and R/D regions are two entirely different creatures

Nazi Europe is Nazi Europe. The Security Council also pretty decisively reversed course on that and repudiated its earlier decision.

Opposed. I'm usually all for messing with the Security Council, but this is too far even for me. Natives who responsibly secure their regions should be left alone; there are plenty who haven't out there.

Those who secure their region and then launch attacks at others don't deserve the protection of the SC. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

Of course they do, otherwise we really should be looking first at virtually every Raider Region around for having password protected Regions while they Raid.

The reason it matters is because it sets a precedent: former RP havens which were not in the R/D game will now be forced to do exactly just that to exist.

Eh. This is an issue because of the symbolism and potential as a precedent.
