The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

Well at least one of the nations that resides there has been in region since 2008 (possibly earlier but I could not find evidence to support that). Puppet or not I would call that native.

It just sits there, doing absolutely nothing. It has no investment in the region.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

However, this is a rather good attempt at a repeal. We just need to find you the right proposal don't we? :P

15 hours ago: The Santa States of Ho Ho Ho banned The Republic of British Commandos from the region.
15 hours ago: The Santa States of Ho Ho Ho banned The Silver Kingdom of Abacathea from the region.

I admire the brass pair it took to waltz in here and ask the Security Council to repeal the liberation resolution protecting the region you just raided, I really do. But seriously, no. I do think the other folks in Christmas -- I'm native there, under a different nation -- would be better off repealing Liberate Christmas and refounding the region. I've said so on the RMB there. But that's not just my choice but a decision the nations there should reach cooperatively, and until then the liberation resolution provides at least some protection against the region being destroyed. I should know, I'm the guy who made Liberate Christmas necessary in the first place. It did wonders for sending me packin'.

@ Cerian - You know what else did wonders for sending me packin'? That guy whose (at least) five years of "no investment in the region" dedication has given him the regional influence to be like a Berlin Wall against refounding. He's practically a one nation army. Yeah, I think he might have invested just a little something in the region and might just be a native.

@cormac unless I'm mistaken you've insinuated I raided you're region? At least that's how it reads. You'll find I did no such thing. Your delegate took it upon themselves to ban me some several hours after I left the region asking for feedback on this very thread. I'm not a raider an frankly have no interest in it. Figured I should clarify that.
