Condemn The Most Glorious Hack

NOTING that The Most Glorious Hack has contributed little if anything to the forum as a whole since the Great Migration;

RECOGNISING the inaction and unwillingness of this nation to perform his modly duties in any way;

AWARE that this rogue nation is an unrepentant, filthy capitalist;

This resolution hereby condemns the Most Glorious Hack on the charge of being negligent in his modly duties.

Moderators know when to have fun and when to do their job. Well, most of us do. Some of us like The Most Glorious Hack only want to have fun. Someone was not doing his job... and one of us had to call him on it. Perhaps others would like to join in the call for greater action by those who are so wilfully neglecting their sacred Max-sanctioned duties?

Considering that it's illegal to commend a mod for doing their job, it's probably illegal to condemn one for not doing their job as well.

You really need to come onto IRC more. It would be a very enlightening experience for you.

Were I Delegate, I would approve it Kryo. :)

I'd vote for this. Or, if it's bad enough, count on the mods to relinquish him of his duties.

Hack dared goaded me to do this. 8) And people think mods don't have fun.

Its not explicitly stated that its illegal to condemn mods for not doing their job well, so its one of those things that is 'left up to delegates to decide'.

*considers a telegram campaign to get the approvals needed*

Nonsense. The Most Glorious Hack should be commended, not condemned. Anyone who has managed to stay out of the whirling maelstrom of insanity that is the new forums deserves recognition for their restraint. That this is possible for a moderator, someone whose job it is to police the forums and ensure they are working correctly, is doubly commendable.

On that note, I will ask for two endorsements from someone so that I can propose a commendation for GMC Military Arms, who in an even more admirable display of restraint has succeeded in making no posts at all (as of this writing) on the new forums. It is only sensible that he is doing his job as a Forum Moderator to be sure; but that he is doing so without ever using the forums is a truly prodigious feat.

The right of The Most Glorious Hack to whatever, wherever, whenever is held as sacrosanct among our people. We will not stand for this fundamental undermining of our national institutions and values.

Oh you! :D

I thought it was a hoax, hence the comment to remove him, lol.

Try this:
NOTING that Flibbleites has contributed little if anything to the mod IRC channel;

RECOGNISING the inaction and unwillingness of this nation to perform his modly duties in any way with regards to communication to the other mods;

AWARE that this rogue nation is an unrepentant, filthy Democratic Socialist;

This resolution hereby condemns Flibbleites on the charge of being negligent in his modly duties.

Technically, I'm a Game Moderator so my job isn't just policing forums.

Well, y'know, it's the spirit of the thing generally. Besides, an occasional forumban here and thread lock there, no matter how perfunctory, does more than simply help out the forum mods you'd ordinarily employ for such menial tasks; it shows you care. Specifically, about encouraging users to stay and fostering unfettered discussion.

Here we go with the technicalities... You know, it doesn't stop Kat, Ard or Reppy.

I think we have bit of a reason, honoured ambassador to Kryo. But take note that moderators are specialists in certain areas, like Nathicana and the official chat area.

Yours etc,

Nonsense, everyone knows locking a thread encourages continued discussion of the same topic. Just like how banning users increases the population of the forums. That's why the mods do it, of course. I mean, since when can stuff like that be attributable solely to "rulebreakers"? The rules are so obvious and posted frequently, surely everyone except a tiny percentage of newbies knows and follows them 100% of the time.

This is OOC and therefore doesn't apply to the Security Council, whether it is true or not.

EDIT: Clearer: You can't make a Security Council proposal that revolves around a moderator's administrative duties, since they are technically not in-game (roleplay-wise).
