[DRAFT] Commend Maxtopia

THE SECURITY COUNCIL,

BEARING IN MIND that on 1 April 2008, Maxtopia authored WA#1 “The World Assembly”, to “[invite] members of the World Assembly to begin work on a new volume, which may in time exceed even the grandeur of its predecessor”;

UNDERSTANDING that it is to this great resolution and its resolution author that The World Assembly owes its avowal;

BELIEVING that The World Assembly has indeed helped improve the World, but it should never forget how it all started;

APPRECIATING the colourful culture and history surrounding Maxtopia, including its civil wars, ancient poetry, forsaken gold, barbaric drug prohibition and its mummified ancient monarch King Maxbari IV, currently on display at the Bear Connors Paradiso National Museum of Antiquities;

CONCLUDING that Maxtopia is a cultural and political treasure in the international world that should be recognized for its contributions;

HEREBY COMMENDS Maxtopia.

By today's standards, “Fight the Axis of Evil” was a horrible resolution. It would surely not go to vote were it submitted today. Maxtopia deserves to be Condemned for that resolution, it does not belong in a Commend!

Ok, how about: "UNDERSTANDING that it is to this great resolution and its resolution author that The World Assembly owes its foundation and creation;" This is factually wrong. Since WA#1 was the first resolution to go to vote in the newly created WA, it did not in fact create the WA. The WA existed before this resolution was voted into law. Despite its wording, it merely confirmed the existence of the WA, it did not actually create the WA itself. As such, the resolution author gave a wrong description of the effect of the resolution, as if the UN would've returned to power in the NS World if the esteemed WA members had voted WA #1 down. Ha! It was all a mere sham, a pretending of there being a choice. No, for this the nation Maxtopia should be Condemned, not Commended,
