The accuracy of my sarcasm is still real.

I never said he wasn't a raider puppet. I requested proof. No one provided meaningful proof. I was perfectly legitamite in my unwillingness to believe a side that has historically proven that it is interested in achieving its ends by whatever means nessesary - lies included. If I made a claim about Christmas regarding this liberation (saw that lots of natives supported it) you would have requested proof, and rightly so, and refused to believe me until I brought proof forward.

Even if I had later brought proof forward, you would have been right to doubt me until I prooved my arguement.
Never underestimate the power of cynicism, pessimism and negativity to prevent terrible things from happening. Only idealists try to build the future on a mountain of bodies.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

Hey now, someone is being naughty, trying to repeal the liberation of Christmas. The liberation is needed so we can live in safety from these raids that pass over us periodically. Just because we don't maintain WA nations in Christmas is no reason to take us over and remove our liberation.

Christmas is a free and open region, and we want it to stay that way.

Christmas is an exposed and vulnerable region. It is the freedom to be raided whenever someone wishes and be the prop of defenders looking for a nice juicy 'victory' to point to.
Never underestimate the power of cynicism, pessimism and negativity to prevent terrible things from happening. Only idealists try to build the future on a mountain of bodies.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

That's hilarious, a raider pretending to care about regions being raided. Instead of fighting Liberation repeals, there's something else you could do to reduce raiding, and that is not raiding.

I don't pretend to care, nor do I care. But if the natives of Christmas care about their region (they don't), then they should refound. Which isn't possible with a Liberation.
