[DRAFT] Condemn Terronia

Draft of the shuttering of DUAN, bear with me, I'm putting it together piece by piece right now...

The World Assembly,

Noting all Founders retain the right over the regional controls to their region, unless they give up that right at the foundation of their region,

Identifying Terronia as a puppet nation no longer belonging to Birkinghamia, the original owner of Terronia, but administrated by members of the DUAN government,

Recognizing Birkinghamia as a former citizen of the Democratic Union of Allied Nations, and a signatory of the Compact of Governance,

Aware that the Compact of Governance limited the citizens to act according to "the will of the majority in an organized and fair legislature."

Knowing all other signatories of the Compact of Governance retain residence in DUAN at the time of drafting this document,

Also aware the Statute of Legislature and Administration provides checks against restriction of freedom of speech,

Observing Terronia promised to eject anyone who posted in the Regional Message Board, thereby restricting freedom of speech,

Shocked by the ejection of over 40 nations from the Democratic Union of Allied Nations, including the WA Delegate The Wiggle, by its Founder, then placing a password on DUAN, thereby breaking the Compact of Governance signed by the rightful Founder,

Concluding those actions were perpetuated by a member of the DUAN government that seized control of the Founder nation from any others, against DUAN's laws of majority rule and free speech,

Hereby condemns the new owner of Terronia.

I don't recall if the use of "puppet" is explicitly allowed, since it's basically a game mechanic. I would remove that clause if possible.

I am the Delegate of the DUAN, and I fully support this proposal. I believe that whomever is behind this ought to be condemned.

There's precedent of it being allowed, though that depends on how it's used.

I have known Birkinghamia for months, and he said he does not own it.

Because Birkinghamia left DUAN, and Terronia's ownership was passed around, then used to eject all non-government members, I can only conclude it was not Birkinghamia--why would he leave then do this?

I believe Terronia was siezed by a member of that government against that government's core principle of majority rule. The disposed delegate, The Wiggle, confirms the illegal actions (mass ejection, RMB suppression, password protection) of the unlawful owner of the Founder nation.

Because these things were anonymous, and against the choice for majority rule made by the original owner of the Founder nation and the region's nations, the Security Council must immortalize these actions for future generations by condemning the anonymous owner of the Founder nation.

Actually, I've just be informed that Birkinghamia is not to blame, but I'm still investigating.

I'm honestly pinning this on being the work of Typhlochactas. I'm thinking Birk must have unknowingly given him the password to the account as Welsh Cowboy was still in possession of Terronia, but didn't do it.

This is a community puppet state that belongs (perhaps) to the region. Even if it has gone rouge somewhere, why would you ever make a community puppet a founder. Just refound the region with an active and known member or creat a nation to refound it with and let it CTE only to be reformed when it is needed.

As the previous holder of Terronia, (I did not destroy the region, though) I just want to say that I oppose this proposal. It wasn't Terronia that did anything, it was whoever got into it.

Also, I don't know where this "collective" rumor came in. I was the only one who had access at the time, along with Birkinghamia, the original founder. I suppose if two is considered collective, then it was a collective puppet, but it wasn't controlled by the government as a whole.

An investigation is still ongoing.

I agree, and as I said before, if the real destroyer is found, I would support a condemnation of them, but not a condemnation of Terronia.
