NOTING The Black Knights hard work in attempt to get any job done at their patron's will. That they are among few mercenary regions left on NationStates who still function.

DEFINING mercenaries as a region who awaits orders from patrons to raid, defend, or conduct intelligence upon the patron's enemies. Mercenary operations are payed for by puppets.

STUNNED that The Black Knights (referred to as TBK), gets every single job done with precision, skill, and accuracy to please their patrons.

ACKNOWLEDGING the fact that the members of TBK founded their region off of principals of democracy and good deeds. Having come from a region with little democracy (or a "sham-democracy) the members know what it's like to be ruled by with iron fists from aristocrats. This region they seceded from is known as Global Powers.

ALSO NOTING that although a lot of regions practice democratic systems, TBK is special because it is a mercenary region who practices democracy, while most raiders and mercenaries practice autocracies and aristocracies.

PROUD that TBK, unlike other raiders and defenders, TBK is run by benevolent members who denounce Nazism and other messages of hate.

ASTONISHED by the skill, experience and activity of these hard working mercenaries.

Liberate Islam

Description: To All Esteemed Delegates,

The Region of Islam, while singular in purpose, has maintained peaceful coexistence within NationStates and has forged dedicated and honest alliances with various other Regions. As a newly liberated region, Islam has once again felt the sting of injustice and has been raided, this time from the rogue region of The Black Riders. Delegates should be aware that the immoral and illegal act of seizure has been fully communicated within The Black Riders and has been displayed in that region's World Factbook Entry (as of 10/25) with the following message:

Attention troops! The Black Riders have seized Islam. All troops are instructed to move a World Assembly nation into Islam and endorse The Empire of Colonel Dubaku.


Noting that it was fairly recently that this same Security Council voted to liberate Islam(SC Resolution #25) it should be of no issue to restore the Region to it's rightful glory.


Recognizing that the "naturally" defined "Natives" have been displaced and their system of regional government has been destroyed, it is the duty of this Council to honor its responsibilities and Liberate Islam.


Aware of the difficulties of liberating such region, it should noted that the region in question is an attractive place to various similar themed nations and is all but guaranteed to be repopulated. The rightful occupants of Islam are now dispersed in various other Regions and through private communications they eager to return to their home region.


Therefore in Rightful Assembly, the Security Council hereby liberates the region of Islam to ensure its continued existence as a region of shared ideals free of any foreign shackles.

We talked this over, and decided that ultimately, it's OK for people to try and Liberate a region more than once. It doesn't break anything, we allow symbolic Liberations (those directed at regions with founders or otherwise not under the threat of being passworded), and it's best left up to Delegates/WA members to decide if they think there's a good enough reason to Liberate a region twice. The main problem that authors will run into is Rule 2 (b) about duplicating the previous Liberation.

Yes, this requires a change to Rule 2 (b), which I'll go and make in a few minutes.

Additionally, we've decided to reverse the previous ruling on Liberating game-created regions. They might be technically pointless, but they can have symbolic value. Again, it's being left up to WA members to judge their worth.

On the reported proposal, it actually violates Rule 4 with "similar themed nations" - which sounds too much like it's describing people playing an online nation-simulation game. It could easily be fixed to become Rule 4 compliant, but the submitted proposal needs removing.

Argument: DEDICATED to the furtherment of international peace, goodwill and harmony between regions... the motto of The Security council states via force if necessary.for that not being stated in the above phrase the condemation should be repealed.

Violates Rule 2(d) by completely failing to address the contents of the proposal it's trying to repeal. Also violates Rule 3 - only says it "should be repealed", rather than actually repealing the resolution.

Commend TitanShen

ACKNOWLEDGING: TitanShen has harassed and pestered the region USA along with regions before it, and –though failed - has tried to tear the USA region apart.

NOTING: USA is a small, peaceful region of no threat to anyone.

FURTHER NOTING: TitanShen has created several “puppet nations” to not only spy on USA activities, but also in an attempt to convince other “raiding nations” from other regions to aid in his lowly activities.

REALIZING: TitanShen has been kicked and/or ignored by other regions due to annoyances. (namely: gathering support to take over other regions, such as the USA)

FINDING: These acts are deterring to worldwide peace, are unethical, are and uncalled for.

SUGGESTING: Because TitanShen has shown ignorance in his choices when offered opportunities for peace, forgiveness, and incorporation into regional communities, a condemnation of this magnitude is necessary in order to show him and make an example of TitanShen for other trouble-stirring countries to see -acts like these are severely frowned upon in the peacekeeping community that this World Assembly attempts to keep.

CONCLUDING: TitanShen deserves to be condemned due to his want for chaos, his unethical actions, and his all around, frowned upon, activities.

I've been trying to find the draft thread for this proposal, but it seems that this was just thrown up without much thought, and it shows in its use of language.

(1) Is committing acts of espionage against one hostile region worthy of receiving a WA condemnation in the first place?
(2) If the nation was disrespectful, we'd like to see some evidence. Link or original post would be nice.
(3) I like to count my chicks after they've hatched.
(4) Again, is this worthy of WA condemnation? And rather than saying the nebulous "other" regions, list the evidence.

As far as we are concerned, the WA is not the rubber stamp of the Federal Islands, and they really should not be using this estimable body for their dirty work. If it so pleases the Federal Islands, they may institute their own little "condemnation" program over there, but let the WA condemnations be directed to things more relevant internationally.

At the very least, the drafters could have given more effort into convincing others of the dire need to condemn a hostile neighbor.
