As a staff writer for the PNN i reject this statement as blatant BS.

You might have valid points somewhere in that rant but for the most part it does not reflect the reality of the Pacific.

They are all substantive points. And I don't care what you call yourself, you are not a writer if you do not produce anything.

PNN does not produce anything on the volume to call itself a news agency. It is completely ad hoc and a disgrace to the original PNN.

In fact the PNN has such a difficult time producing any written work that they tried to outsource the task to the MPA - AMOM's failed and irrelevant association

So after years of irrelevance you have come here to say, that Krulltopia should be commended because you wrote one article that speaks of nothing about the Pacific, but instead summarizes gameplay wars in another region?

This does not constitute a rebuilding of the famed PNN as defined in this resolution.

I frankly find your article a testament to the squalor of the Pacific, that the PNN has been reduced to summarizing wars between defenders and raiders, both of which are removed from the multi-dimensional and feeder centric gameplay championed by Francos Spain.

wow dude....

Well from this i get the impression that you refuse to take the first step to do anything worth doing and instead hate on those who act where you are too afraid to tread.

I wrote that article because it was interesting and timely. If you don't get that fine, but no reason to hate on other people who are trying to produce things. If you truly were a follower of francoist though you would support those who try to grow themselves and add culture to their community.

You are suffering from a serious disconnect. I am not criticizing you, I am criticizing AMOM propping up Krulltopia as commendable. In that regard, if you are going to prop up your article as some kind of support for a commendation, then you have to be prepared to stand by it. The fact is it does not rise to the level of a revitalization of the PNN in anyway that merits a commendation.

I wish you luck in your work producing articles, but this does not change the facts. I do not think Krulltopia has deserved a commendation by a long shot, and your lone article - while admirable - does not support this hyperbolic and misleading commendation.

The SC is foreign to me and I rarely if ever venture here but seeing as this is about my old home...

I see "Francoist" being thrown around. I consider myself a hard-liner Francoist and have been since my first days in the PRP. I was a fervent propagandist and spent some of my best NS years there. I say from experience it's not easy to run a Feeder, any Feeder, especially one with a history as rich and full as Pacifica's. It's not easy living under Francos Spain's shadow and I doubt any Userite could do better. I'm not supporting or opposing this proposal, but I'm old and get cranky.

Also, Ivan Moldavi was a tyrant - a tyrant who stirred our deepest emotions and gave us a reason to play the game and fight for something. He was a tyrant and one of the greatest delegates.

BS there are other GCR's with less activity.

Name them. :)

I was suggesting he was most certainly a tyrant and very good at it. If he were to return to the game I think he'd be one of the most deserving nations for condemnation. Anyways this was a tangent, but someone was arguing he wasn't a tyrant.

To be fair, probably TRR or TEP. But The Pacific is certainly trying to beat them.

Aww, I appreciate you too. I'm sorry if I am knocking someone you respect a lot, I don't know Krulltopia well as a person (being well, not in the NPO circle for starters). But what I do know is the World Assembly has always been a supporter of democratic rights and the Pacific isn't in the best of shapes.

Krull is pretty good people, and no the Pacific isn't very democratic, but it is stable. I usually enjoy reading your opinions on things as you are passionate but respectful and that is a hard balance to maintain. As for activity in the pacific, i really don't have tooo much of a valid opinion other than as i said there other slow regions.

(btw happy birthday, if you ever get into the DC region ill get you trashed, make up for suckage)

I think Anur Sanur and Unibot bring up very valid points. Reading this thread I went from just being curious to thinking that there should be a proposal to ask Krull to step down from delegacy. 3 1/2 years is plenty long, time to step down and get someone new in that region.

Why? Krull provides stability and clear leadership. Why would one want to limit competence?

Eldritch,

The same reason that many democratic nations limit time in office. I objectively read this thread and after considering both sides, I feel that a formal commend for someone doing their job is not necessary. I do not think this delegate went above and beyond their duty. Does Krull deserve an informal "atta boy?" Yea I would say so. he's not doing a bad job, but I wouldn't make room for him on Mt. Rushmore either.
In the Sovereign Fraternal Order of Spartans, we are expected to do our job to the best of our ability. The expectaction is that we always give 110% at whatever task we are appointed with. Going outside our job description deserves commending.
I realize our nation is very sedentary with WA politics because we like to keep to ourselves for the most part. This is just our nations 2 cents for what it is worth.

BTW Eldritch, we have read your work and you write well.
