How is that illegal, exactly?

Americas Paradise Land is a strong nation. It stands up for its own beliefs and stands up for a region. It would be a crime to not reward this nation.

Does that not fit the description?

"It stands up for its own beliefs and stands up for a region. It would be a crime to not reward this nation."

It needs evidence as to how this person stands up for the region in question and stating why it is a crime to not reward such nation.

I mean I stand up for my own beliefs too, but there is no argument here.

Judging by the fact it's been left up for almost two days now, I'm leaning toward the mods believing the proposal is legal.

I'm pretty sure it's legal too, but I'll defer to your judgment Mr. Delegate. ;)

Also, to the person who originally claimed it to be illegal, you're supposed to copy/pasta the proposal text. Giving us URLs is useless if the proposal is removed.

Furthermore, it's perfectly fine to assert something without evidence in an SC proposal. This isn't NSG. So long as it has an operating clause, doesn't use personal pronouns (i.e. he, she, I, we, you), and doesn't go beyond what an SC proposal can do (e.g. impose sanctions), should be okay. Oh, and doesn't plagarize.

A resolution to express shock and dismay at a nation or region.

Category: Condemnation

Nominee: Actualisaria

Proposed by: Jaredania

I stand before you to present my case on which to condemn Actualisaria, a ruthless country that is a danger to the International Community.

FURTHER NOTING: That many of these are developing Nuclear Warheads illegally and without Security Council permission.

STATING: That said nation, Actualisaria, has performed nuclear tests in the past and plan to do so in the future.

FURTHER STATING: That the Regional Chemical Agent Revisionists' squad of scientists have found traces of faded plutonium in Actualisaria's largest city. Also, that citizens have stated that the Actualisarian Government has used Nuclear and conventional weapons against those who oppose them.

IMPLORING: That the Security Council take action against the oppressive government of Actualisaria, and that all weapons of mass destruction, and all weapons containing chemical agents, be confiscated from the Actualisarian Military.

CONCLUDING: That the Kingdom of Actualisaria is a war-stricken place posing a threat to its citizens and to the international community. Also, that Actualisaria has used nuclear weapons and chemical weapons against its people. Commend Americas Paradise Land
A resolution to recognize outstanding contribution by a nation or region.

Category: Commendation

Nominee: Americas Paradise Land

Proposed by: Anonomous

Americas Paradise Land is a strong nation. It stands up for its own beliefs and stands up for a region. It would be a crime to not reward this nation.

This bill commends Americas Paradise Land

Approvals: 8 (Nawaria, The Ruhr, Tasty Water, Maoist People, Communist Eraser, Jimmy Hart, Shaw State, HARD JAZZ)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 69 more approvals)

No real justification, no real reason for the nation to be commended, and the spelling of Anonymous really annoys me.

Does it matter that the owner of the SC proposal is a CTE? That is twice now that the proposal was viewed as illegal by NS. There is something wrong with it.

The contents of the proposal, as I think I said before, are legal. It was badly argued, but contained sufficient to be legal.

Normally, no. But since the author turns out to have been a DOS player, I've removed the proposal.

Not relevant. We does not in any way "lean" on I. It has been used multiple times in the past as the voice of the SC.

Moronist Decisions wrote:FTR: Contradicts NAPA (#10)

Also not relevant, as SC legislation doesn't counteract GA legislation.

Certainly, this proposal is illegal, but as was stated, it is because it has R3 and R4 violations.

Did the person walk into the SC thinking it was the GA and submit a proposal that would have been illegal in both chambers?

No, he was actually trying to do something with an intra-regional roleplay and failed to understand pretty much all the concepts.

I just create a proposal about you guys because we got to remove nuclear weapons from our region and I don't know if there is any nuclear weapons filled in parts of Eos and so, I have to condem you guys and i'm sorry about that and I apologize for that and let this region become a haven without nuclear weapons. Thank you very much and I hope the members of the WA can vote for that.

A resolution to express shock and dismay at a nation or region.

Category: Condemnation

Nominee: Suchasmallthing

Proposed by: Geoslitzavaika

Description: Proposed by: Geoslitzavikaa

This Condemnation is directed at The Black Riders nation of Suchasmallthing for the following reasons:

- Suchasmallthing is a highly-known and senior member of The Black Riders.

- Suchasmallthing continuously has destroyed what other people have worked months, sometimes even YEARS on.

- By doing the above, she has also successfully strikes fear in the hearts of many, people sometimes even giving up NationStates entirely do to her cruel acts.

- She should also be condemned due to her status as senior-member of the notorious Black Riders region, which is an organization aimed at wiping out months of growth and stability in some regions which she had promptly destroyed without any regrets.

- She has also shown to be vicious and ruthless, never stopping until the regions she had even stepped foot in are completely destroyed, as shown in the several regions she had put her mark on.

And that finishes my proposal written in order to Condemn Suchasmallthing.

Rule 4b - use of personal pronouns - 'she' and 'her' and Rule 3 - no actual operative clause, plus written more from the perspective of the proposing nation, so possibly Rule 4d as well?
