[DRAFT] Commend the Great Kingdom of Calomo

Postby Mercurea » Sun Jul 29, 2012 12:52 pm

The World Assembly,

• AWARE that the Great Kingdom of Calomo has set a precedent for environmental protection with innovative ideas,

• RECOGNIZING that the Great Kingdom of Calomo protected the civil population of the Jovian Islands against the attacks committed by terrorist groups with radical ideological orientations,

• NOTING that the nation chose the path of human rights instead of supporting war and conquest in the conflicts of Tycoona and the Jovian Islands,

• HIGHLIGHTING its leadership for an international strategy of social assistance, democratic culture creation and human development for the victims of the violent acts in the Jovian Islands,

• BELIEVING that the foundation of the United Nations of the Union and the guidance of that alliance to become a pillar of democracy and peace was a contribution for humanity as a whole,

• AWARE that every military intervention that the Great Kingdom of Calomo has leaded in foreign countries has been followed by effective social assistance in the most affected countries and regions,

• RECALLING the Summit of Diplomatic Relations between Nations and Regions , an unprecedented event where diplomacy was understood as the primary way to solve disputes and conflicts between nations and regions, as a creation of the monarchy of the Great Kingdom of Calomo,

Hereby commends the Great Kingdom of Calomo.

You are trying to commend a nation that has existed for four days? lol

Does a nation have to exist for a long time before they are commended?

I already joined Calomo's region.

Er...yes, pretty much. Four days doesn't give any nation enough time to do anything worth commending or condemning. While I understand that the nation in question has helped you out a lot, they do not deserve a commendation.

Agreed.

Whilst in theory there is no specific "time restriction" on Commendations and Condemnations for practical purposes a nation has to exist for a reasonably long time and show it is Commend-worthy or Condemn-worthy over that time. Four days and just a handful of events that may be Commendation worthy do not make for a strong Commendation proposal.

Indeed, they are right.
Ha ha, well then. Please shut down this Commendation in order to allow me to work for more time before I deserve a Commendation.
Thank you very much indeed, anyways.
And thank you very much to guys who gave their opinion on this.

Yours sincerely,

This reminds me of an earlier incident when certain nations were just "playing" at getting something passed in the SC

You are totally wrong. If you do not know about certain incidents we had, please remain out from this.

It is considered extremely bad form to comment on ones own potential Commendation. I am pretty sure I have more of a place here than you. Furthermore there is no point in "telling" me to stay out of an argument in this channel. You are no moderator, and even moderators can't keep a nation out of a discussion thread. They can shut down the thread or suspend/delete an account but they do not single out a nation from participation. An when I was earlier light-heartedly comparing you to another set of countries in leage for their own gain through basterdizing SC proposals before hand, now I will outwright say it.

The Author, Which appears to be in league with the Nominee of this commendation, is merely trying to obtain an SC reolution Badge and a Commendation Medal for the nations in question. Their in experience becomes evident in both the fact that they beleive that this porposal would succeed and Calomo por argumentative style in which the nation uses red herring and argumntation and an apeal to false authority to try to keep nay sayers out of "their" thread.

Only if you want it ;)

Wrong. Everyone is equal in the SC. Your no better than the rest of us.

Another good first draft. But as SD said, the nation is too new to be evil.
Happily oblivious to NS Drama

I am sorry, but it says: Commend, not Condemn.

The point still applies. There just isn't a card for an early condemnation. ;)

Yes I get that. You mis-understood, I was speaking from metaphore which follows from commenting on one's own Commendation. I should have tailed it with something like "...in the eyes of the people" perhaps. I beleived, mistakenly, what I explained about the inability to tell me to go away would automatically be expanded as a concept that applied to all nations. It was poorly worded.
