Description: The security council,

RECOGNIZING that The Righteous Crusaders of Maniacal have surely help many new nations and regions get started, (EX. they helped United States of Natan get started with their nation and region)

BELIEVING that The Righteous Crusaders of Maniacal deserves to be commended for their good deeds to the community,

HEREBY COMMENDS The Righteous Crusaders of Maniacal

They aren't and you should always post here before submitted. As is, this proposal is far too short. THere isn't nearly enough material here to warrant the attention of the Security Council. Next time, post here first so we can tell you that before you submit it.

You really need a lot more substance than this for an SC commendation. Take a look at some previous resolutions for examples. My first SC proposal was also a commendation. Look at how much material is in there compared to yours.

I won't approve it because there isn't enough material in there to warrant a commendation is what I'm saying. You need a lot more substance. Being a "nice guy" is something you could commend half of the nations in the world for.

well I cant change it now and it was my first proposal, so give me a brake! and it is to commend someone who helped me a lot. i dont see why you cant approve it. next time I will make sure the proposal is good.

and it wasnt just because he is a "nice guy". i put it up because he has helped tons and tons of new players. not many people do that.

Try putting your thoughts into one post, rather than constantly double-posting. If you took some time to think before posting, it'd help.

If you post it here first, that would help. Many SC authors, including myself, will help you to edit and find mistakes. It will improve your proposals a lot. I'm always more inclined to approve and vote for proposals that are posted here first (especially those I help craft). I personally tend to vote against proposals that are submitted without editing first, and generally get annoyed when bills are submitted before posting here.

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you post here first, that same thread will be used should your proposal reach quorum and go to be voted on.

If you want Delegates to approve this, I would suggest launching a TG campaign. You can find a list of the regional Delegates in the game here. Send some of them a telegram asking for their approval; that's usually how you get a proposal through either the General Assembly or Security Council.

Natan,

Do you know how to edit your posts? If you want to get feedback on a proposal you can post a thread here and as comments come in you can edit your original post.

Also, Skyrim has advised that your commendation is a bit short and you have said he's helped tons and tons of players. If you take what he said, then adding more details on how he's helped the players may make more delegates be inclined to support your resolution.

Getting something passed in these halls is not easy, but there are a number of writers who can help you out.

As Skyrim said, this proposal is way too short. It lacks substance, to tell us why we should actually commend them. I will not be approving of this in its current form. As the others have suggested, I suggest you take it down, and work with everyone here to lengthen it.

Sorry bud, but I can't approve this as is. It seems like this proposal is more geared towards idolizing someone that helped you personally. I would suggest finding a bit more evidence of such things so that people can really see exactly how he has helped people.

And only send people one telegram, not two. I didn't like waking up to see 2 new messages, both about the same proposal and one 15 hours ago and the other 4 hours ago.

And as a player, I have to say the proposal is too short, not enough substance and not enough to merit a commendation.

This is a very poor example of a commendation. People tend to take commendations and condemnations seriously around here. You have to tell us why this nation deserves a commendation. Provide substance in your proposal and provide evidence in the thread.

Start with a thread that helps you revise your drafts. Then submit it after you have worked out all of the kinks, then the thread gets re-titled to have [Submitted] in front. Once the proposal reaches quorum and is up for a vote the thread will be re-titled to have [AT VOTE] in the front. Thats is how you avoid having more than one thread open.
