FURTHER noting that Skyrim Diplomacy (SkyDip) is a well respected member of NationStates and even more respected in his region.

HUMBLE part founder of the NS republic.

CONTRIBUTOR to the NationStates Wiki.

TIRELESSLY working in the Security Council with proposals as Security Council Resolution 75 "Commed a Mean Old Man."

LEAVING an impact on future Nations with SkyDip's vast knowledge of NationStates.

SKYRIM DIPLOMACY is deserving of a commendation.

This is my first time doing something like this. I would like feedback but please keep it civil. Also please point out if I have violated any laws.

Incorrect, Eist, I did not found the region. Simply the Delegate time and again.

I'll try to stay out of this drafting process as much as I can, as it's sort of bad form to comment/aid with your own commendation. However, I can tell you right off the bat that this has a few illegalities in it. You can't use personal pronouns like his or her under R4-try replacing those with Skyrim Diplomacy, or, for example, changing your NOTING clause to

Also, I believe using the term "players" is illegal under R4 as well, as it refers to NS as a game, which you can't do in SC proposals-they must be written in Security Council In-Character (SCIC).

No. Commendations apply to the nation, not the player, and should be written accordingly.

Also, try deleting Skyrim and plugging a nation in there that is pinacle, paramount, or paradigm. Commendations should be reserved for those nations which are always an example of what wholesome nations should strive for. (And the reverse for condemnations). Basically you are saying that Skyrim should be commended because it has held the same region as delegate a few times, and that the nation has written one successful commendation. Those are hardly accomplishments. Read the other Commendations, and see how, they (at least appear to) have promoted ideal throught all aspect of their nations existence. Perhaps you want to mek an RP commendation. You are going to have to use a lot of poetic license in order to do it, and quite frankly I still don't think there will be much support for it.

I don't see why not. You can submit anything you want as evidence. The power of that evidence lies in how well you can sway nations with it.

No... you can't.

For instance, you cannot say "the user behind X likes potatoes and thus nation X should be commended." No. The only facts you can use are facts that exist in the NS world. It's the same as an IRL nation getting condemned or commended. The United Nations IRL isn't like "We should condemn NK because the Chinese like purple flowers."

I was being facitious. I was implying that it would be easier to pass with another nation, but sarcasm in text form is hard to decifer. Perhaps a mischeivious face could help

It would be just as hard to pass with someone that had the same credentials that Skyrim currently has. It's not Skyrim that's the problem, it's just that he hasn't done enough.
