Security Council Proposal

I would like to have your support on a proposal on the I have put up on the Security Council. This is for a friend that has died by a random murder. To show how much he will be missed i put up this proposal. I hope i can count on you to say yes to this proposal.

While your intent behind this is probably quite good, the proposal is full of illegalities and so will get removed from the queue soon.

If you're interested in doing this I'd suggest posting a draft here and then getting others to help you write something legal and more likely to pass.

"Description: HONORING a friend who made The League of Allied Nations a better place to live and lost his life at an age too young.

OBSERVING his efforts to make the region he resided in a better place to relax and have conversation with fellow region dwellers while he was alive.

VIEWING that he will be missed by the whole region, and other regions.

OFFICIALLY would like to commend The Dignified Republic of Conorium in an effort to show how much he will be missed by his friends on Nation States."

The first thing I'd do is read through the pinned topics at the top of this forum, especially this one. The major problems with your proposal as it stands are:

For example, you proposal cannot:

(a) Refer directly to a player, rather than to the NationStates nation itself.
(b) Refer to the game, or events or actions in it, as a game or part of a game.
(d) Reference the real world, in the sense of the place that is not the NationStates community.

As much as your intent is obviously to commend the player, the proposal has to be about the nation.
