Ahem...allow me to try and spell this out.

When you commend or condemn a region ALL it does is put a badge on that region. Generally speaking this is so people know which regions are thought of well and which are not since outside of that they don't really do anything. Perhaps think of them as badges of fame/infamy respectively? Might be the simplest way to describe it.

From what I've seen in this thread what appears to have happened is your region was raided. That is to say a raider group came in, seizes your delegate position and started kicking out native members of the region to harrass them effectively. It's a kind of "war" thing.

It is unfortunate, but it happens. You condemning the region will NOT change what happened and unless the raid has been called off by now will do NOTHING to save the region from being 'badly run and corrupt' as you seem to imply. Which isn't strictly true because it wasn't being run like that...it was being raided.


Honestly I don't think you have a hope in hell. But in the spirit of fairness I'd point out that your current draft as it stands is very, very poorly worded. You seriously need to rework it and look back at previous condemnations to get an idea of how they should be written.

Also trying to rush through a proposal NEVER ends well. The only things which are ever rushed are emergency liberations in an attempt to stop raids from cleaning out a region completely.

As a resident of Capitalist Paradise and a former WA Member, I have this to say:

This supposed Condemnation of my region for actions it could not or would not have committed with the actual administration in power is a farce in my opinion. Being banned from a region is not qualifying material to issue a condemnation. Especially if the region was recently raided and the WA delegate picked by the raiders, who did not represent Capitalist Paradise as a whole, ejected and banned anyone who opposed him/her. Once the raid was completed and the raiders left our borders peacefully, Capitalist Paradise once again reinstated the old administration and allowed former banned nations back in with open arms.

Even if I wasn't in Capitalist Paradise, taking actions against them for simply being 'banned' but nothing else is a pretty sorry excuse to create this piece of legislation designed to ward off people from joining regions.

If I was still allowed in the WA, regardless of affiliation with the Capitalist Paradise, I would vote against this proposal.

Your proposal is equivalent to someone losing their sovereignty and then not condemning the invaders, but the actual victims themselves.

As a player, I'd say I'm not sure why you are condemning the region, how this is supposed to help them?
And the proposal needs a lot more to have a shot at getting passed.

Usually you condemn a region because the region (as a whole) did something evil, or rather, has a history of evil deeds.

I'm not seeing that in this situation.

This really isn't what a condemnation of a region is for, your proposal goes far beyond the SC's powers (better run and less corrupt) .In reality, all it does is put a badge on the region or nation. It sounds like you are trying to condemn the delegate rather than the region itself. You might want to change your wording around as well, it isn't worded too well.
