One thing that might be interesting as we move forward is trying to find more of a balance for candidates. I know that condemnations are going to be rarer than commends but finding more worthy candidates for condemns would definitely help increase the diversity of resolutions.
...And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloud!

Here's an idea: repeal the commendation of Haiku but it can only be structured as a haiku.

The BBC recently released this article about a journalist who was chased and nearly attacked by protestors, and there have been various other examples of journalists attacked and nearly killed in heated situations.

I was thinking of writing up a declaration to protect journalists who are simply doing their jobs in the hardest of situations, would anyone be supportive?

This is likely a General Assembly issue. There have been several resolutions on conflict journalism, including at least one that was repealed and replaced.

Thanks! Did not know that was a thing.

I personally think it's such a unique and deserving commendation and don't want it repealed. However, a repeal of that would only be desirable in a haiku itself.

Liberate Institute of Cellulose.

Yes, I know they have a Founder, but these jokers decided to enter into a partnership with Sanctum and Layem. Maybe we should line them up for the same sort of treatment.

That doesn't mean they need liberation.

Ahem yourself. It’s an idea especially as your region decided to ally itself with two of the nastiest regions in NS.

Which I staunchly opposed myself. It is regrettable that such a choice was made (especially since Layem and Sanctum's actions were well-known).

The one thing I got out of it was an "I told you so" moment.

To be honest, I don't think Liberating regions with active founders is very productive. Sanctum and Layem were Liberated to achieve the very productive goal of destroying them.

His point isn't on destruction but is rather just on personal grievance. For some reason, our regions have feuded for some time.

Actually the point would be the the eventual destruction of your region.

The fact that he has taken his time to hold on to this personal obsession to 'destroy' us is very sad, feel sad for him.
The only thing most people dislike about TWP is BBD, I honestly do not care to be in some 'petty' feud, if he wants to then fine.

We entered blindly, we thankfully have seen that was the wrong choice.

Maybe we should line them up for the same sort of treatment.

Why? IOC does not hold any views in line with Sanctum and Layem.

Old Zealand and The Wooloo Pact were never Liberated. I see no reason to do the same with IOC when they will just move to a new region after the invasion anyway.

Bitch and moan all you like, this is a valid idea with a decent raison d’etre. Argue against it when a draft appears in this forum.

Won't happen anyway, considering the Founder account is shared between me and someone else.
Plus, we don't need Liberated, IOC is just some random ass Role-playing region with people from different backgrounds.
