Security Council Resolution #13 “Liberate Utopia” shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

KEEPING IN MIND that every region should have the right to be password protected regardless of its status.

CONCERN BEING the need to reject the notion of the WA preventing a region(s) from password protection.

I request that we repeal Liberate Utopia as they should be free to make the decisions of this nature without the
interference of the global community.

Rule 3 and 4, both in the last line.

For the past 12 years, this world has seen it's ups and downs. The nation of Vanke has been there to guide humanity through the turbulent times that have plagued this world. Yet he has got no praise. The nation of Val Verte finds that very hypocritical, for the Security Council to do that. So we have set out to thank, and pay tribute to the nation of Vanke. In Val Verde we have made December 12 National Vanke Day. We ask that everybody join us in thanks.

Condemn Antifa

A resolution to express shock and dismay at a nation or region.

Nominee: Antifa

Proposed by: Martigues

Appalled by this region's actions against other sovereign regions via raiding.

Acknowledging that Antifa uses malicious and deceitful tactics to shut down regions with opinions that differ from their own views.

Showing that Antifa shows no remorse for its actions as a region and takes pride in silencing different ideologies and brutalizing other regions.

Noting that Antifa is responsible for the invasion and complete destruction of several regions.

Finding it hypocritical and dishonorable that Antifa claims to be an anti-fascist region yet their actions prove otherwise.

HEREBY condemns Antifa and its actions in an effort to deter Antifa from continuing these cowardly acts.

Despite it is a feeder nation, it recruits many other nations naturally, by their own choice (such as me!). They have so many amazing opportunities and in-region activities such as Role Playing, Democratic Debates, and even their own website/forum!

Observe: The North Pacific works tirelessly to educate those who are new and those who have come from all regions in search of help through telegrams. The North Pacific is gracious and supportive to every single nation that joins or spawns there.

I'm confused as to how this is an R3 violation. It seems to me that the next to last line meets the R3 requirement. What am I missing?

As per the rule Compendium:

An example operative clause is "Hereby Condemns Exampletonia". Operative clauses must be clear that they're targeting the nominee, rather than the actions cited in the pre-ambulatory clauses (see here). You must clearly state the name of the nominee in the operative clause, not a nickname, and misspelling the name is liable to get your proposal removed.

(underline emphasis my own). Therefore I read:

HEREBY condemns Antifa and its actions in an effort to deter the region from continuing these horrid and hypocritical acts.

As being illegal for condemning the actions of the regions. You can't condemn actions, only nations/regions. If the underlined bit removed I think it would be legal.

It's borderline but illegal. R3 says a condemnation can only condemn its nominee; this proposal condemns the nominee "and its actions". Language like "Condemns X for actions XYZ" is fine, but "Condemns X and its actions XYZ" has never been.

Still need permission. I searched the forum and a couple RMBs, I don't see anything giving permission to use the original draft. Unless a TG was sent, this would be plagiarism and warrant ejection.

NOTING that The Black Hawks are an aggressive raiding organization.

ACKNOWLEDGING that raiding is legal, yet controversial, under-regulated, and frequently unsportsmanlike.

CONCERNED that The Black Hawks have openly targeted and raided hundreds of regions and used regional bans to permanently exert their control.

RECOGNIZING that The Black Hawks have admitted to conspiring to pass a Security Council resolution to commend their own nation by drafting the text.

CONCERNED that a vote in favor of this resolution will make World Assembly delegates and their regions targets of The Black Hawks, as has been reported following previous proposal attempts.
