Racial Equality in your Nation

What is it like in your nation for people of different race that your majority? Does your nation treat minorities in the same way that you treat the majority race?

Here in Afrikaner-Volk, we whites are actually the minority. Our people arrived in this land from the Netherlands in 1652. After several brutal attacks from the native tribes, (Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Nama, etc.) the government began a system known as Apartheid. Thanks to this system, voting rights, and many other civil and political rights are reserved only for the Afrikaner people. The blacks have attempted to rise up, but thankfully it was not with very great force and they were beat down and contained.

All Races are equal under the Constitution of the USSS, and state sponsored discrimination is forbidden.

In Turmoilandia, the vast majority of the population is white. There is a minority of Natives and they have full rights under the law. We don't have laws banning racial discrimination because they violate freedom of association, infringe upon the sanctity of private property, and because they would be superfluous anyway.

Our nation is racially homogenous, so we have no racial equality issues.

All races are equal in Al-Harakut. Most ethnic minorities receive no illegal discrimination also.
However, some receive quite a bit, even though they are protected by the law.

Few in our population are traditionally considered "white" to North and Western Europeans. Our largest group is Italian, then Greek, with significant populations from the Balkans, a good number of Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews, Arabs, and South Indians as well. All are treated equally by law and by the people's will.

OOC: Yes, Malan did introduce Apartheid, but in my nation it was Verwoerd. We have an alternate timeline.

Racism is seen as a silly concept in the federation and everyone from the darkest Negroid to the most fair skinned Imerian are seen as equals to others on their level on the social hierarchy. Racism is however legal and it is practised by members of all races in the federation.

In Britcan all races are equal and we find it disgusting that your government is actively involved in the discrimination of the people.
Afrikaner-volk is herby added to the list of nations Britcan citizens are advised to avoid.

TableRase is an island with a particular race for its majority, a subset of the caucasian race, which is dark blonde, tanned white skinned, tall and thin, and blue-green eyed, although there are some variations, this is typical. We also have a significant minority population, and equality and peace are normal, although occasionally you'll find a bigoted soviet (worker's council), but for the most part we observe the "All are created Equal" statement. The largest minority are the asians, particularly from China. And non-TableRase desended whites are also considered minorities.

Racism as a whole is outlawed in Valtarin as a means to keep the unity of our people. It is against the law to make racist remarks in public, with a 10 year jail time penalty. Higher racist crimes can get an individual anywhere from 20 years to life, a few racist crimes may land an individual in the electric chair.

Technically, in law, both the human minority and the sythen majority are equal in the Nohn court of law.

In practise, the human protectorate government represses sythen rights, encourages the syth to live in the rural provinces away from major human settlements through monetary and cultural incentives, apply unfair tax policies against major sythen businesses under the pretext of combating monopolies on the isle, encourages the gendarme to employ racial profiling against the syth, generally doesn't support sythen or other indigenous languages, destroys sythen historical and cultural areas and replaces them with human buildings, and the like.

Oh, and while nobody is allowed to vote in elections, only humans can serve in the millitary government, because only humans can serve in the millitary. Just to add insult to injury...

there are many races in the FSR, but the majority is the while Caucasian, but under the Equality Act, every person regardless of age, culture, sex, background, skin color and language has the same rights as the people around him

Racial equality has been guaranteed since 1865, because of the Racial Equality Amendment to the constitution of Geilinor. This applied to Zoozk, because we were a colony of Geilinor then. The principle was continued in Zoozk's constitution in 1951.
