He would immediately have his firearms taken away from him and would be put under heavy observation by the Stasecpol (Our version of the Securitate).

The minute he steps into Thurask, his weapons are taken from him for security reasons. After a quick screening, he would be given a government grant of $2000 to find employment, a place of residence, and, in the words of the welfare officer, "to not look like a male prostitute". Likely jobs would include lumberjack in the Northern Mountains District, a Thurask Ground Self-Defense Force soldier, or a police officer in one of the more remote areas of Thurask.

No baggage, no documentation, and armed? He's going to have to be careful not to be fired on by the Border Guards.

Assuming he isn't fatally stupid, and has the smarts to claim political asylum, he has a decent chance.

He might be employed in any number of fields once he has cleared our Immigration procedures, and assuming he seeks out citizenship. Private security firms would be a likely field, or perhaps a low-wage service industry job.

Without more information on personal beliefs and education, its difficult to say.

What makes people think they can bring weapons into an international airport?

Walker's weapons would be seized and melted down for children's toys. The airline that he came in on would be put on a watch list for possible (probable) loss of landing rights. Walker himself would be put back on the plane and told to use his head before trying to enter Fatatatutti again.

The law against importing weapons is one of the few laws we have but it's very draconian. There is no trial or appeal. Deportation is automatic.

However, Walker is free to return at a later date.

He would be detained and questioned at length about why he is bringing weapons into Lancov. Upon assessing that he is not a threat, and appears to be seeking asylum, he would be released, though his weapons would be impounded until he gets an appropriate license. Aside from that, his military training would be put to good use in law enforcement, perhaps on a Crisis Response Unit.

Postby Victorious Decepticons » Thu Mar 03, 2011 12:45 pm

Short version:

He's well qualified to become a Decepticon citizen. After proving his mettle through some adventures on Decepticon Earth, he is invited to Cybertron, where he passes the citizenship tests and becomes a proper Decepticon robot.

He decides to become a career soldier after finding his initial mandatory service quite enjoyable, and rises to a position in the middle ranks. His performance is above average.

All The Details:

When Walker hits Decepticon Earth via the Transdimensional Warp Point (which he likely knows as the Bermuda Triangle), he comes to the immediate attention of Domestic Intelligence (DomIntel).

He's well-built, and he's armed. In other words, he actually seems like he's at least trying to be somewhat READY for survival in our part of the universe!

He also comes to the immediate attention of some slavers who are hunting in the area. Scoring an unmodified human will mean a quick 100 Energon Cubes for them, and this one looks like he might last more than 2 seconds down in a mine - he might actually net them 150 Cubes. They go for it and in a couple of steps, are right in front of him.

When they try to grab him up, he opens fire with the semiauto. The bullets just bounce off the Decepticon slavers, but the robots are surprised that he had anything to shoot with at all. They continue to reach down to pick up the little pile of money, and he switches to the pistol. This does even more nothing, but his continued resistance tells the slavers that he'll be a bad slave - and that it's unlikely that they'll be able to hide his disobedient personality long enough to pawn him off on some mine.

"Let's just sell him to Biological Rendering," one reasons. A little scrap of meat like that would only be worth about 5 Cubes, rendered, but to them, it's still free money.

They reach down again, and Joseph picks up that the tone of their engines has changed. It's now more menacing - an unconscious result of the fact that their intentions have turned deadly. Joseph fires at them with the pistol again - the bullets still do nothing, but the human realized that his firing made him less enticing to them before.

They're just about to grab him anyway when they see what kind of pistol it is. It seems to be a Walther P-38. Joseph doesn't realize it, but this kind of gun is very important in Decepticon culture: it's the kind Leader Megatron transforms into! Immediately, the robots assume (wrongly) that the human may actually be part of DomIntel - the secret police.

They back off in a hurry, and with nervous grins, they go away.

The actual DomIntel has witnessed the entire thing. They're impressed. The human is either lucky or very wily!

After a week of similar encounters, and a bit of hunting to feed himself, some DomIntel agents approach the human. He raises his rifle, expecting more capture attempts, but they point out the Seals on their wings. Along with the standard Decepticon Seals, they bear the logo of their agency. Even though the human doesn't know specifically what it means, he realizes that they must be some kind of governmental authority figures. He assumes they're police, but fortunately for him, doesn't say so - he just reacts with the respect a law-abiding person would usually give to police officers.

"We see that you've been able to handle life on this planet quite well," the first agent notes. "Not only that, you actually managed to hit an animal with your little guns. This tells us that you've got military training, a strong will, and a well-developed predatory instinct."

The agent realizes that the human doesn't quite seem to realize who they are.

"We're from Decepticon Domestic Intelligence. We spotted you as soon as you came through the Warp Point. Tell us about yourself..."

Joseph Walker tells them his story, and eventually admits he doesn't realize how in the heck he ended up on an Earth controlled by robots! In turn, they tell him that he must have sailed through the Transdimensional Warp Point, and that such things happen on a fairly regular basis. That, they tell him, is why there are so many idle slavers hanging around the area.

The agents are clearly impressed with his reason for coming. He surely has a beef with his old nation - a clear indicator of someone who'll make a good Decepticon and not balk if ordered to attack his place of origin. They again tell him he'd likely be accepted as a citizen. With nowhere else to go, he agrees to accept a ride to Cybertron to take the citizenship test.

There, he passes the psychological part of the exam with no problems. The fact that there is no law other than against treason and dissent doesn't bother him; as long as this government doesn't backstab him like his old one did, it seems reasonable that its leader would expect him not to do it to them either.

He is dismayed to learn that he has to go back to Decepticon Earth for the rest of the live-fire test, which is required to prove that someone can actually survive for more than a few days in Decepticon conditions - but he does it, and fulfills the requirement without undue difficulty.

Finally, he is presented with his new robotic body, which he'll need to be mind-transferred to in order to complete the citizenship requirements. Thanks to his military past and his experiences on D.E., he knows that it's a badass war machine. Its two shining blasters seem to call to him to make them his own.

He readily takes the Oath of Allegiance and then undergoes the mind-transfer. He knows quite a bit, so it takes 7 grueling hours to transfer all of his data. At the end, his mind integrates with his new body without a hitch. His engine roars to life, and his eyes begin to glow as he feels the vast power of the machine fill his entire being.

As an immigrant, he is required to immediately serve 3 years in the Decepticon Military. He eagerly reports to his assigned base. He sails through Induction (basic training), picking up the necessary aerobatic skills with ease along with some military strategies that he hadn't been taught in his homeland.

Finally, his base commander persuades Megatron to give the new immigrant the ultimate test of loyalty. A Military Raid is made upon Kyraina's biggest refinery, and Joseph Walker is ordered to take part. Walker quite enjoys taking the refinery for all it's worth and does excellently in the raid.

With his military abilities and loyalty now unquestioned, he becomes a well-respected member of the Decepticon Forces.

Since he does well at it and enjoys it, he decides not to change careers after his mandatory service is up. He becomes a career soldier, and is sent to many locations ranging from domestic enforcement bases to interplanetary invasions. Though he isn't genocidal or otherwise quite ruthless enough to reach High Command, he is called on often to be a squad leader (this is never a permanent position) and can be counted on to bring in battlefield victories.

He would be arrested for not owning a an LDL(Loonaterese Department of Licensing) approved firearms license. Because he would have only just arrived in Loonaterian he would be allowed to take the test to see if he could get an LDL approved firearms license. If he passed the test he would be given back his firearms, given a LDL approved firearms license and would be allowed to walk free. If he didn't pass he would have his firearms confiscated permanently and would be allowed to walk free. Either way he would then be given a house and a job in the facturies by the LDIE(Loonaterese Department of Immigrant Equality).

His weapons shall be taken from him for security reasons, He'll also be given 2000 tib credits and shall be assigned an apartment to live in, once he gets a job, he'll be able to buy his own house in a few weeks after getting the job.

He would make a great soldier for our armed forces, or he would be a good construction worker.

If Mr. Walker is found in Roodswood without proper documentation, he would simply be repatriated. If the Rain Rangers refuse to take him back (as you've indicated, he was exiled), he would simply be deposited in a nation that has no immigration laws or that has no effective government control (of which there are many in the NS world).

There is a small chance that if Mr. Walker can reasonably prove that he is a Catholic, or at least not opposed to the importance of the Church in Roodswoody society, and that he was unjustly forced out of his previous homeland, he might be granted asylum by the King, the local lord who discovered his trespass, or the Church. If that is the case, he would be allowed to remain in Roodswood as a legal immigrant as long as he takes an oath of loyalty to a Roodswoody lord or enters the priesthood or religious life.
