The commercial capital of Oslea, Eastwood City is home to the headquarters of many Oslean corporations and is widely known as the 'nightlife capital' of the country in addition to being a commercial powerhouse. The city is well known for its entertainment, with many attractions catering to all demographics. These include the fine arts such as dance and theater, situated primarily on renowned Brockway Avenue, to nightclubs and bars centered around the entertainment district on Bowie Street. It is a coastline city, along Schwarzkopf Bay which leads out to the Oslean Sea, and is fed by Schwarzkopf River.

Immigration to Jacinto City dramatically increased in 1997, and many skilled and educated immigrants bolstered the commercial district which is known as Eastwood City today - due to the explosion of population in the area, the Oslean States government ratified a bill which split Jacinto City and Eastwood City into two municipalities in 2008. Roads can be congested at peak hours, but construction efforts have prevented the problem of overcrowding which consequently resulted in Eastwood's proliferation of highrise towers.

Crime is a moderate problem in Eastwood, especially in the Warehouse District by Schwarzkopf Bay where a port operates full-time, receiving imports globally.

Transportation around the city is facilitated by the large fleet of taxis, a relatively reliable bus service, and an ever-expanding, efficient rapid transit railway commissioned in 2009. Personal transportation by car can sometimes be difficult due to the vast amount of cars on the road at peak hours, but possible at the nighttime past 7:00pm, early morning before 7:00am, and the afternoon before 6:00pm.
