Most die of old age in our country, but a despairing percentage of the rest die of cancer, due to our rapid industrialization. Studies suggest that in twenty years or so, that percentage will abate, however, improving our mortality rates substantially.

Official reports show that 65% of the New Danish population die of natural causes related to advanced age, followed by the 17% of the New Danish population who have been reported "missing" while in the extensive wilderness, most usually hikers in the Gotkrift Mountains. It used to be S.A.L.P.S. until recently. Now, it's diseases like pneumonia, malaria, crap like that. Exposure's a bad one, too, until we can get more repairs made and more of the national infrastructure fixed.
