Cancer in cases of premature deaths of Provecti under the age of one hundred. Over the age of one hundred it's old age. Most elves don't care to disclose the cause of death so we don't have very good statistics on them, but their deaths are usually violent.

The pie chart says cancer. The pie chart is wrong. There have been precisely zero cases of cancer in Olthar over the course of the past five and a half centuries. The real leading cause of death, with a whopping 87%, is retirement. Citizens reach the age of 60 and are summarily executed on the spot. The other 13% is war.

To be precise "old age" is not a cause of death. Causes of death are such things as "asphyxiation", "cardiac arrest", "exsanguination", and so forth. "Old Age" would merely be a contributing factor to one of those.

The leading cause of death in Rinnah is cardiac arrest secondary to coronary artery disease.

Heart disease. Although we have an excellent health care system our people are living in conditions where the environmental air isn't too clean, the food is greasy and unhealthy, and people generally shy away from physical activity.

According to the charts compiled by the WA, heart disease is the leading cause of death in Roodswood, with 27% of deaths being attributed to it. The royal court cannot confirm or deny this number, since it does not collect that sort of information on the subjects of the Kingdom outside of the King's own direct vassals.
