[Southern Patriots]

This is the Southron coat of arms, also featured prominently on our flag.

The shield features a red lion passant and two thistles, taken from the family arms of Cecil South, after whom the colony was named, and the Latin motto Sit Nomine Digna (May It Be Worthy of the Name) is a reference to South (who was already considered a great man in the Mother Country). The pick, in gold on a green field, represents mining, the economic mainstay of the colony. Also featured above the shield is the soapstone statuette of a bird found in the ruins of Great Zimbabwe. Two Sable Antelope, stand for our country's heritage of game and wild life.

Should be self-explanatory; the flames stands for everlasting unity. Only really used in the central government, provincial governments have their own arms and district councils use the Hammer, sickle, star and cogwheel symbol on our flag (Which of course, stands for the alliance of Workers, Farmers and Intellectuals.

The Great Flag of the Azuran Empire is the national flag of New Azura, and currently flies over twenty-one different states in the world. The tribal Poinsettia design is a constant reminder of the "Great Poinsettia State", the longstanding nickname of New Azura, while the tribal cross represents the reformed country under the Christian banner.

The Great Flag of the Achæon Lineage
The Great Flag of the Achæon Lineage is the official flag & shield of the Achæons of New Azura, dating back to the first century A.D. The two pillars represent the two great defenders of New Azura (the Ixion and the Achæon), with the central cross representing the power of the Christian faith in the Azuran Empire. The rose is meant to represent the reigning Achæon, while the two smaller buds are actually Poinsettia blossoms, one for the Azuran homeland, and one for the Azuran territories.

The Great Azuran Banner
The Great Azuran Banner is the official banner of the Imperial Armed Forces of New Azura, and is flown on all ships, carried by the army during formal revue, and stamped onto the wings of every aircraft. The banner carries the phrase "MCPA" written in Checotese. The term MCPA itself is actually of Latin origin—Metropolitus Cosmpolitas Populus Azuras—and represents the central tenants of the Empire: the Metropolitain (New Azura), the Cosmopolite (the Colonies), and the People which comprise the totality of Azura.

The Crest of Anaximander IV
The Crest of Anaximander IV is the official seal of the reigning Achæon (Emperor) of New Azura and her colonial empires. The two griffins buffeting the typescript "A" accentuate the four stars—the bottom three representing the reigns of the first three men titled Anaximander, and the top representing the current reign of Anaximander IV.




The Great Seal of the Azuran Empire
The Great Seal of the Azuran Empire is the official shield and coat of arms for the Azuran Empire. The heraldic emblem has three significant parts: the "Shield of Faith" to protect the Azuran Empire from all enemies, the "Helmet of Salvation" to always restore Azura in times of crisis, and the "Great Bird of Prey" who carries the message of the Azuran Empire to the four corners of the Earth.


The Four Great Anthems of the Azuran Empire
Unlike most nations, the Holy Cailene Empire of New Azura has not one, but four national anthems, each of which is used in different circumstances. The National Hymn is the presumptive "national anthem" of New Azura, being played more often than not at sporting events and public gatherings. The National Processional Anthem is the theme played during the processional entrance of the Ixion and his entourage, and is the one least used. It also plays during funeral marches, hence the name. The Anthem of the Achæons is the official theme of the Achæon, and is played in his honor during any public or private function. The Anthem of the Imperial Armed Forces of New Azura is the military anthem for all four service branches, and is played during military revues along with the National Hymn.

Minoa's emblem is not truly official but more of traditional symbol representing Minoa. It is a simplified gold-coloured Argead Star, a symbol of a stylised star or sun with sixteen rays, which was unearthed in 1977 .

The three 6-pointed stars represent the national motto: Jakta! Jakta! Jakta!. The green emblem in the middle represents the Green Rebels who forced the Neiveïm's government into exile. The green star with red outline represents that the people may differ from one another but they are united. The wheat represents the agriculture industry which is important to our society. The cotton and Meconopsis which are the national plant and flower. The 3 crescents and stars represent Shia Islam, Sunni Islam, and Tanuo-Sumerianism( a close relative to Islam). The 4-pointed star represents the minority Eastern Orthodox population and was included for equality. The 2 olive branches represent peace and tolerance between the 4 religious groups. The red and green banner represents the national colors. The green لأغغشةها ٌثسحعلامهنسهاغع لإشىسعشىلاث(Gyyamih Respubliksihya Tansuanbe) and the red Прнфьшр Куызгидшлыг Егыгфтиш(Ghyamih Respubliksu Tusuanbi) mean Armed Republican Tanuanbie.
The Green Rebel ensign: Inspired by the US ensign of the Eagle with an olive branch in one claw and arrows in the other. The eagle represents the ability to fly over the people and see the royalist abuses of the commoners. The sword represent gallantry and willingness to die in battle. The olive branch originally was the Grim Reaper's scythe to show death to the Neiveïm, but was changed to show a move towards peace. The rising sun represent the dawn of a new nation. It is green because green is the Tanuan color for victory and prosperity so the rebels hoped by calling themselves the Green Rebels that they would succeed.

Coat of arms of the Union State of Gorgisia

Also known as simply the "Union Arms", this national emblem is a double-headed eagle, chequered in blue and red, on a white French shield and a mural crown. The eagle, an old symbol of the Gorgisian tribes, and the checks symbolize the unity between the two federal states of Gorgisia (also known as confederates), and its colours, together with the white shield, add up to the national colours. The mural crown, which replaces the old royal crest, symbolizes both popular sovereignty and Gorgisia's glorious medieval culture.

The coat of arms was first used during the Kingdom of Gorgisia, which existed until 1899. The shield later came into use again when the "National Confederate Militia" (NCM) tried to re-establish an independant monarchy. During the communist dictatorship, only a plain white eagle was used, as the communist officials saw the Gorgisian People's Republic as a rebirth of the old nation of rich farmers - but soon, the emblem was picked up again by a democratic underground government. This would inspire today's coat of arms, which was introduced after the democratic revolutions of 1997.
