To distrust the World Assembly is to distrust your abilities to change the Multiverse for the better. Do not let a few bad resolutions dishearten you.

We hope your legislature realizes that the WA is not a seswiki to be slain but rather an institution that you are a part of and needs to be taken care of and protected from those who wish to give it overbroad powers. It is the dissenters that give the WA its strength, not the powerbrokers who wish that every other nation be like them.

We had chased the penguins all the way to their shared capital, Yeilsiprek, and began to clear out all buildings in the city. However, as our soldiers were carrying out this order, they began to notice that their were not penguins in the buildings. To add to the strangeness, they entered the city completely unchallenged. As they prepared for a surprise attack, they heard -and felt- the ground shaking underneath them. Unfortunately, by the time the spacecraft were ready, the massive penguin ship had already shot out of their range, quickly going outside of the solar system's circumference. By our estimates, 2.7 billion penguins escaped on that ship, toward the alien-inhabited Dinani System. This marks the end of The Second Great Penguin War.

After an election yesterday, February 28, Costa Makarios was elected Archon, or Head of State, of the Most Serene Republic of Christian Guilds. 3 out of 4 guilds voted for him against his leading opponent, Dorothy Kantarakis. His center-left policies stood in marked contrast to her center-right views. The main campaign issue was civil liberties, which Makarios wanted to increase and Kantarakis didn't want to change at all.

Makarios specifically proposed legalizing marijuana and other minor drugs. Kantarakis wanted to keep them illegal.
