Well equipped possibly not. Everything else we have them on. No one matches Prussian Discipline, Motivation, or Indoctrination.

Depends on what you consider well equipped, I am sure some 18th century cannons can mobility kill a modern MBT, or kill a platoon or soldiers, and NN's guns can crack ribs and liquify organs even if they somehow don't go through body armour. Used correctly one could win against a modern army with tech 100+ years behind them. I think Sumer once claimed that he could defeat 90% of NSers armed with t-55s instead of MCA-7s, which is probably true if he said it.

Roodswood does not have a national army; each lord or free city is expected to purchase and maintain its own armed forces. In the exceedingly rare event that the Kingdom needs to go to war, the King must rely on his vassals to support him with their troops (in addition to the ones he's raised from his own holdings, of course).

The reason for this is primarily political; the Feudal Reform Decree of the late 18th century sought to strengthen feudalism, which saw centralization of the state as a major contributor to the success of leftist revolutions. Roodswood has never fought in a major foreign war, so it does not really need a modernized military command structure.
