Our official close combat weapon is the entrenching tool, and in addition to formal training with the spade they are also trained to use their helmets as blunt weapons.

The Armée de Terre wear dull blue trenchcoats as uniforms. The only exception is the marine brigade which wears dull blue and green smocks.

Most officer ranks start with the word captain. Like capitain de brigade (commands a brigade of 3000 men) or capitain de colonne (commands a regiment of 500 men). The officer in charge of a ship is a commandeur.

All men in the army recieve training that would normaly be relegated to specialist units, namely mountain warfare and amphibious warfare.

The air force is not a separate branch of the army and is mostly in the hand of the navy. Therefore all pilots are also trained as sailors.

You can also get Kuru if the prion particles reach the subcutaneous layer. In other words, if you have cuts on your hands while preparing the dead body you could still get Kuru. Also, there is the fact that decay happens almost immediately after death, meaning that you either have to capture enemy soldiers to kill and eat (which will probably get your people driven to extinction if you are fighting any "normal" NS country, or NN), only kill soldiers killed in the last hour or so, or eat partially rotten meat.

Really cannibalism only should be practiced for ritualistic reasons, it offers no real advantage. There are much better things to eat than people, just teach your soldiers to forage, or steal from the local populous, it isn't like you are going to get on their nice side if you eat their cousins anyway.

The only stock part of the missiles is really the propulsion system, and even that is modified to lessen the g-force of liftoff. Anti-radar countermeasures are also put in place, such as anti-radar paint.

It's the speed that the craft hits the atmosphere that causes heating. The crew capsule has thrusters that slow it to the point where it begins to drop out of orbit, this is when the soldier jumps.

This operation is only done in the most extreme of circumstances, as it is risky and expensive. Standard HALO/HAHO jumps are the norm.

They have it, we are just so bad at melee combat that we prefer to shoot them and run to actually fight. Think of my nation like the Tau empire from warhammer 40k, we shoot you up, and if you close in on us we die. The only real difference is that they are communist and we average 6 feet tall.

Are your soldiers trained to continue firing and not take to cover when being fired upon? Otherwise you have lost the battle of suppression.

Not my guys who are armed with rather powerful assault rifles (6.5x50mm (similar in power to 7.62 NATO)), powerful DMRs (7.5x60mm similar to .30-06), and insanely powerful sniper rifles (15x120mm), and have helmets capable of taking a hit from an AP .30-06, and armour capable of taking several hits from AP .30-06 rounds. Also, I have auxiliaries too, 2 meter tall savages that drink a lot and eat people, they are quite useful in melee combat. The only downside is that you have to keep them away from the women.
