For an enlisted solider it carries an automatic promotion to Captain after OCS. For an officer they get promoted 1 grade. In order to become a general you must have won it in either the 1st or 3rd class. The members are in a Legion And the person with the most awards and seniority get an honorary advisery postion to the head of the goverment. If they are a Major OF Legion or higher they are head of the Legion or a high ranking postion in it.

Normally this Medal will be awarded by the President of the United States.

For civilians there is the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Congressional Gold Medal, both of which may be awarded to anybody who has made...

In addition, it is possible to be awarded what is known as the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction, essentially a PMoF awarded to those whose contributions are felt by all to be unusually momentous, even by the standards of extraordinary deeds.

Both the Medal of Freedom and the Gold Medal are considered to carry equal prestige, the main difference being that the Medal of Freedom is given by the President, and the Gold Medal is instead awarded by an Act of Congress.

None of the medals listed above is strictly limited to US nationals.

A lot of Fatatatutian soldiers would say that the highest honour they could receive would be the Lifesaving Medal, which is awarded by the Lifeguard Society to anybody who has saved a life. I have three of them in a drawer somewhere. It's hard to look at them without getting emotional because the world might be a very different place if I hadn't happened to be in the right place at the right time. My buddy, Sgt. Elmo Morrison has seven of them. He's the kind of guy you want to have next to you when you're in harm's way.

[Victorious Decepticons]

The highest honor in Victorious Decepticons is to be presented, in ceremony, with a Cube of Megatron's Private Reserve. Those particularly honored may be awarded multiple Cubes. This particular type of Energon - the rarest and very finest type made - is meant to be kept as an heirloom and never consumed, much like ultra-rare wine.

Sometimes, this honor is combined with a substantial monetary award. Other times, the Private Reserve is the only tangible honor.

There are no particular names for these honors; the reason for giving them is simply announced at the ceremony and in pre-ceremony press releases.

There are a few ways to earn a Cube of Private Reserve:

Since we have very few generals, making the rank of High General gets you one Cube as part of the promotion ceremony. So far there are only 6 such generals (under Megatron).

Finding an uninhabited planet that has a good amount of oil on it and no one else trying to get it nets you a Cube of Private Reserve along with your reward of about 100 million Cubes of Standard. This massive payout is because it is so rare to find an oil-bearing planet that actually has no life left on it. (These planets are considered great finds because they're pretty much all profit for Megatron Energon thanks to not having to pay raiders to risk their necks getting the stuff.)

Being instrumental in winning a battle against a truly serious opponent will win you at least one Cube of Private Reserve, and possibly several.

Setting up a deal that allows the Decepticons to get free oil (or similarly-valuable resources) from an inhabited area without the need for raiding or warfare qualifies one for half a Cube. This "silver medal" isn't easy to get, but it's easier than one may expect. Both PT and far-FT nations often have no use for oil, and some are even glad to get rid of those "awful tar pits" they have.

Setting up a deal that results in the unconditional surrender of a nation, without warfare, is worth 10 Cubes of Private Reserve, but so far no one has managed to qualify for this honor.

Inventing a great technological advancement that results in a substantial improvement to the Minimum Design Specification of the Decepticon Race is worth 5 Cubes of Private Reserve along with a reward of 10 million Cubes of Standard. There have been several honorees.

Parama Suprasidha Prabala Gorkha Dakshina Bahu

The Most Puissant honor in the armed forces Parama Suprasidha Prabala Gorkha Dakshina Bahu (Sovereign Order of the Gurkha Right Hand), also informally known as Gorkha Dakshina Bahu first class; founded by King Prithvi in 1766 BS is awarded by dictator himself in presence of full cabinet. As the name suggests, it is awarded to those solders who have continuously shown extraordinary courage against the enemy or continuous excellence in commanding troops, to the extreme benefit of the Great Nepal.
Parama Suprasidha Prabala Gorkha Dakshina Bahu is a automatic promotion (rank of promotion is decided by military high command) and comes with a financial award of Nrs 100,000 along with land award of 4 Bhigha (27,090.52 square meter).

The order may be posthumously awarded, in which case the nearest relative is awarded the order. The body of the solider is given state level funeral, meaning a day of national mourning will be held with flag of Nepal flying at half mast, the solider will be given a 108 gun salute.
Only 40 soldiers till date have been awarded with this order till date, 18 of them posthumously, 4 when the solider was in a critical situation and passed out before been formally awarded in ceremony and 18 when the solider was still serving of which 2 of them are still alive.

Parama Projjwala Nepal Tara

The Most Refulgent Parama Projjwala Nepal Tara )Order of the Star of Nepal) is the highest civic award; founded by King Tribhuvan on 1918 BS is awarded by Dictator himself.
The award is provided to any individual, who has made a extraordinary contribution in any sector or has acted to the extreme benefit of the Great Nepal.
The order carries with it financial award of Nrs 90,000 along with land award of 1 Bhigha (6772.6 square meter).

On the other hand so is svardsarden often seen as the highest honour a man can be bestowed as it is handed out to officers that have fought better and with more honour than duty would require.
The order is then devided into three classes: Iron, gold and silver with Iron being the more common and silver being the most valued of them.

The highest honor to be bestowed on any civilian is The Senatorial Gold Medal. This is awarded for any civilian that "Has shown great moral aptitude, and should be an example for all citizens." This is awarded mainly to people that come up with cures of major diseases, make scientific, historic, or literary breakthroughs, and for those that have made excellent strides improve the economy and thus the living condition of Newsaintsland.

Your highest honor is such cheap that one person has 7 of them? And it is awarded for what? Lifesaving?
If I or almost anyone in Nepal Army was there, I am sure we would have had few hundred in a year.
