The Republic of Cartavesqa (Chinese: 共和国宪章维卡), commonly known as Cartavesqa and nationally known as Saka Cartavesqa is a republic in northwestern Greater Dienstad. It is bordered to the north by the Golden Sea, to the east by The United Socialist States of Vortim, to the south by Moratony, and to the west by East Jokoria. Its territory covers an area of 1,919,440 km² and its climate is that of the Mediterranean climate.

The Republic of Cartavesqa has approximately 700 million inhabitants ^{[Source 1]}, of which approximately 70% of its population are that of the Cartavesqian descent. The Republic of Cartavesqa was preceded by the The Empire of Cartavesqa as a result of a civil war involving The Empire and several rogue factions of Cartavesqa. Following the civil war, the imperial system was officially abolished and Emperor Junius was removed from power, leading to the establishment of the current Republic led by a many different levels of government, varying from a regional to a local scale.

The Republic of Cartavesqa is a Constitutional Republic and a Parliamentary Democracy. It is a Imperialistic State consisting of 9 State Provinces, the Province of Xiao-Yang, The Capital District, The Kremho District, The State of New Cartavesqa, Gogondo, Totolori, Relodokia, Jorkoria and Kiltomis. The Republic of Cartavesqa is governed by a Federal Parliamentary System, led by a Head of Government designated as the President of Cartavesqa with an official title of The President of The Republic of Cartavesqa (PCVA) and a second in command Head of State designated as the Vice-President of Cartavesqa with an official title of Leader of The States, and also serves as the Lieutenant Governor of all five provinces. The seat of government of the Republic is located in New Junius, the capital city of the Republic and simultaneously that of the Capital Province.

Cartavesqa is located in the northeast of Maritime Japan, with its territory covering 1,919,440 km², of which,091,117km² are land and 828,323km² are water. It is the 7^th largest nation by area in Maritime Japan. Cartavesqa is bordered to the north by the Golden Sea, to the east by The United Socialist States of Vortim,to the south by Moratony and to the west by East Jokoria. The geographical terrain component in majority of Cartavesqa is mountainous, mostly to the northeast, with a hilly terrain on the southern islands. Cartavesqa's coastline in length is 11,634 km.

The climate of Cartavesqa is that of the Sub-Mediterranean climate zone, with the exception of the Northern Mountain Ranges, which has a Artic-Tundra Climate. Winters are warm and wet in Cartavesqa, with temperatures averaging at 52°f during the season. The summers however, are constantly hot and riddled with dry spells. Cartavesqa is famous for its varying geographical features scattered throughout its islands. Cartavesqa is made up of over 10,000 islands.

Cartavesqa has taken many measures to ensure that its environment is not destroyed.

The Cartavesqa Environmental Protection Agency is in charge of preserving the environment and writing new legislation for environmental protection. In 2010, The Green Act was passed in Cartavesqa, therefore requiring that 50% of all newly manufactured Cartavesqian cars be electrically powered or run off solar power. "Los Cartamobliles", Cartavesqa's leading automobile manufacturing company, has taken their environmental cautiousness to a whole new level by making 95% of their new cars electrically powered. Cartavesqa has the 12^th nicest environment in Maritime Japan according to a recent study.

Cartavesqa has began to develop technology that would clean up pollution in inner-cities. Unfortunately, in Cartavesqa's earliest years there were a lack of restrictions on industrial pollution. New Junius, Cartavesqa's capital, had terrible pollution due to the high amount of industrial plants during the Cartavesqian Industrial Revolution of 1946-1952. During this time many cars were being manufactured out of the cities, and the plants caused terrible pollution throughout the years. In 1970, all plants were ordered to shut down by The Cartavesqian Government and the city began placing restrictions on pollutants in the city. Cartavesqa's current air cleaning technology involves sending a substance into the air that spreads out pollutants to the point where the air becomes healthy. As of January 1^st, 2011, New Junius is the cleanest city in Cartavesqa in terms of air quality.

Cartavesqa, along with its mountainous regions, is also filled with lush forests. Mount Silver is notable for the cities that surround it, as they are actually built into the forest, something that has been common in Cartavesqa for thousands of years. However these cities are quite advanced, and are some of the nicest in the nation. The forests of Cartavesqa are also a major source of the nations timber supplies, which are vital to the nations industry. Timber, being Cartavesqa's 8^th largest export, play a key role in the economy, and are shipped worldwide. However, due to deforestation throughout the nation, The Cartavesqa Environmental Protection Agency has placed regulations on the amount of trees that can be cut down per year.

The Republic of Cartavesqa has a military population of 1.695 million people. 895,000 of these men are assault soldiers, or soldiers who are involved in combat operations. This includes personnel on ships, aircraft and military bases. The Combat Divisions include The Army, The Air Force, The Navy, The Air Defense Forces, The Strategic Rocket Forces and The Blackforce. The other 800,000 soldiers are for logistics, this meaning they work for medical, supply transport, and mid-combat weapons support. The three branches of The Militaries Logistics Division includes The Medical Corps, The Supply Corps and Fixture Support. The Cartavesqa Military as a whole operates under the Toliski Chain of Command System.

The President of the nation is The Commander and Cheif of the military, although usually operations are run by the secondary commanders stationed at the Kremho National Joint Military Headquarters. Secondary commanders make orders to division groupings that make the orders specific to a regiment or battalion. From there it continues to flow down the chain of command until the order reaches its specific target, and at that point the order process is complete. The president along with The Cartavesqian Congress have the power to cancel military action.The President usually will not make direct orders to the military, only in times of crisis. Anyone in the process mentioned above may also send commands to lower groupings, but not higher ones. This is meant to boost the effectiveness and response time of the military.

The Vice-President is also considered to be a second commander, and therefore has all the power that a second commander would have. The Vice-President uses this power more actively, and commonly sends orders down the groupings. For any situation, the higher grouping of the military can force a lower grouping to withdraw an order. The President is the highest grouping, and can only have a order cancelled by congress, with a majority support of 66% percent of voters voting towards cancelling the action.

The Cartavesqian Military purchases most of its supplies from Defense Contractors from Cartavesqa, such as CartaCorp Weapons and Trexamin Corporation. The remainder of the military's weapons come primarily from Lyran Arms and Trinity Global Defense. Cartavesqa has developed nuclear weapons over the last several years, and has a current stockpile of 23 atomic bombs. Cartavesqa has also developed stealth aircraft, and is currently using the CVA7-Falcon Fighter as a stealth fighter.
